Day 264 Year3 of Project365

Just me

Taking portraits and relaxing in the forest with a friend.

I received a phone call yesterday, requesting me to provide a résumé for the position I'm wanting in Atlanta. It sounds like several people at work are interested in the positions in Overland Park and Atlanta. Not surprising, really. I think you'd have to be nuts to prefer to get laid off in this economy, when your employer is offering you the opportunity to stay with the company.

Polishing up my résumé last night reminded me of just how much I *hate* having to look for a job. So, since I *am* debt-free, I drew up a plan. An escape plan. It will apply whether I get the job in Atlanta or not. It's purpose is to provide me with an action plan to get my ass out of telecom—permanently. I see it as absolutely do-able, too. Being debt-free, for me, is the key. I can now, if I have to (or if I want to), take a job doing just about anything, as long as I can make enough to meet the few expenses that I do have.

Atop the windswept cliff, the land falls away into the blue infinity of the sea. Here, the journey culminates in a moment of reflection as the world opens up, vast and boundless. This photograph captures the essence of such a moment, where human presence is dwarfed by the grandeur of the natural world. It is a place where thoughts are free to soar with the gulls, and the whispers of the ocean breeze speak of ancient tales. It's not just a landscape; it's an encounter with the sublime.

This is a photo that I did for a series entitled "Madness". I wanted to explore what it looked like to go through things in your head. I think this is my favorite photo because I used all the elements that I have learned over the last semester. I used long exposure, during the day, with a filter in order to capture the feeling that everything around you may be still moving, but most of the time you are stuck in your own head. I took this picture in Richmond, VA downtown near VCU.

All alone, sitting and contemplating what the day may bring...

Across the street from the playground where my niece's birthday was was another playground. This one had the solar system mapped out with these globes. Earth was the only one that was done with color, although Saturn did have a ring around it. During the summer it is apparently a water park type playground. Savanah has already made me promise to bring her back.

Juno beach had a 'red flag' today indicating that you shouldn't swim under any circumstances.

Juno beach also had a 'purple flag' today indicating that there was dangerous marine life present.

Greetings mate! I love voyaging forth to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park to contemplate poetry, physics, the golden ratio, and the Tao te Ching! What's your favorite epic poetry reflecting epic landscapes? I recently finished a book titled Epic Poetry for Epic Landscape Photographers:

www.facebook.com/Epic-Poetry-for-Epic-Landscape-Photograp...

Did you know that John Muir, Thoreau, and Emerson all loved epic poetry and poets including Shakespeare, Milton, Homer, and Robert Burns?

I recently finished my fourth book on Light Time Dimension Theory, much of which was inspired by an autumn trip to Zion!

www.facebook.com/lightimedimensiontheory/

Via its simple principle of a ofurth expanding dimension, LTD Theory provides a unifying, foundational *physical* model underlying relativity, quantum mechanics, time and all its arrows and asymmetries, and the second law of thermodynamics. The detailed diagrams demonstrate that the great mysteries of quantum mechanical nonlocality, entanglement, and probability naturally arise from the very same principle that fosters relativity alongside light's constant velocity, the equivalence of mass and energy, and time dilation.

... but she did nothing.

Not because she couldn't, but because she had thought, and found that some things had a better time and place. The time now was not hers, nor was the place.
