Sessions and events are organized by albuns.

This statue by Antony Gormley is part of a series near canal locks in various parts of the country, under the general title - LAND.

There is a real ambiguity about the figure. In this flat early evening light without a boat in the lock, it could indicate someone contemplating suicide. I imagine that in bright sun with a boat going through the lock, one would have the completely different picture of a by-stander enjoying the experience. I wonder if this ambiguity was in the artist's mind.

An attempt at "Elizabethan boudoir photography". I am wearing my newly completed Blackwork trimmed Elizabethan smock. The image of the Lady in her underclothes, hair down, and bare feet on her bed would have been highly suggestive... the image itself also suggests other themes....comtemplation of aging beauty perhaps.... photo by Glenn Eilers, photo editing by LM Johnson.

I love voyaging forth into nature to contemplate poetry, physics, the golden ratio, and the Tao te Ching! What's your favorite epic poetry reflecting epic landscapes? I recently finished a book titled Epic Poetry for Epic Landscape Photographers:

Did you know that John Muir, Thoreau, and Emerson all loved epic poetry and poets including Shakespeare, Milton, Homer, and Robert Burns?

I recently finished my fourth book on Light Time Dimension Theory, much of which was inspired by an autumn trip to Zion!

www.facebook.com/lightimedimensiontheory/

Via its simple principle of a fourth expanding dimension, LTD Theory provides a unifying, foundational *physical* model underlying relativity, quantum mechanics, time and all its arrows and asymmetries, and the second law of thermodynamics. The detailed diagrams demonstrate that the great mysteries of quantum mechanical nonlocality, entanglement, and probability naturally arise from the very same principle that fosters relativity alongside light's constant velocity, the equivalence of mass and energy, and time dilation.

The seaside always make you stop and think .... It was a beautiful and very cold day and suddenly my wife was standing there at the end of the pier. The motive reminded me of a motive from the film "The French Lieutenant's Woman" (with Meryl Streep & Jeremy Irons (1981)) which I for some reason suddenly recalled.

My favorite piece of artwork from the festival today. This guy would stand back, contemplate for a bit then go to work again. Every time he did it got more and more colorful. I loved it.

I'm going to try and get my little brother to sign up for something like this. It's right up his alley.

...doing a "Reggie" perhaps? She eventually walked ashore very calmly, thankfully. Maybe she was just mesmerized by the sea.
