Quite a classic of a sunset, but now in the Westman Islands. I could have easily cloned the lamp post, but it has a human feel to it. It seem to be contemplating the sunset - a simple lamp post that can only light a few meters of street, admiring the power of the Sun just before their working shifts are changed.

How am I going to survive this semester? It's only the beginning and already I'm super stressed. But tomorrow my directing class is having callbacks for our 10 minute shows. Can't wait to cast my play and start working on it!

Posting a macro after a long time! Got some images that I took a while back on a old disk.
This was in a small park near home. I was looking for bees in flight and while following one I fond him sitting and repelling the visiting bees! So tiny but was so beautiful! Will post a few more soon!
Took it with Nikon D800 with a reverse 28mm f2.8.
Thought I'd try another self-portrait. Although I'm overall really happy with the composition I'll admit I think the processing could've been better. It's quite noisy I think?
I think I'll have another crack at this shot in the next week or so, see if I can get it just right.

having a great walk at the desert with my cousin and brother in law . the view was unbelievable . so i decided to take and HDR photo of both while explaining to them that movement even an inch is not an option , well they decided to go for it , and here is the shot .

This picture was shot on hand held in RAW . Processed file in Photoshop CS6. I increased the overall saturation with Hue/Saturation. Curve adjustment to increase the overall contrast. 1 layer mask in soft light mode at 50% gray, using brush tool to lighten and darken some areas of the image, to bring out details. Used Nik Sharpener Pro to sharpen image.
Went to the Singapore Zoo today. It's a great zoo with lots of photo ops to capture the animals doing all sorts of stuff or just doing nothing. This is a Sumatran Orang Utan just sitting there doing nothing.
