My attempt at the "Crazy Tuesday" theme "Container and contents".
Shot with a Steinheil "Repro-Objektiv 80 mm F 4.5" on a Canon EOS R5.
This is a seedpod of the wisteria, 2019 was the first year I saw these. They are very velvety, hope to grow this into a real wisteria !
This is 2,5 inch wide.

Abelia is a formerly recognized genus that contained about 30 species and hybrids, placed in the honeysuckle family,
Normally I much prefer concrete interiors but, in seeing this stairwell, I was struck by how much modern design is constantly pulling cues from traditional visions. The sweeping curves and converging arcs are all contained in contemporary concrete interpretations. This was merely a design that was at the cutting edge in the Victorian era, and now adorned with a flower display that is in keeping with that time.

The New Mexico fire situation remains challenging. The big fire is the Calf Canyon/Hermits Peak fire which has now burned 303,000 acres and is 34% contained. To give some perspective, those rocky peaks in the distance are 12,500' feet high.

For Macro Mondays' #contained theme
The bottle (Freixenet) itself is unusual in that it is dimpled, being covered with this pattern of triangles/squares. Each square is approx 5 mm in length, so in total the shot represents a row about 3cm long. The colour comes from using a Florescent WB setting, though I think the bottom row of bubbles may be picking up the yellowy colour of the prosecco.
The KeyBank State Theatre is a theater located at 1519 Euclid Avenue in downtown Cleveland, Ohio.[1] It is one of the theaters that make up Playhouse Square. It was designed by the noted theater architect Thomas W. Lamb and was built in 1921 by Marcus Loew to be the flagship of the Ohio branch of the Loew's Theatres company.
Loew's State Theatre, as it was known then, was built in an Italian Renaissance style and was intended to show vaudeville shows and movies. It opened on February 5, 1921, seating 3,400.[2] Because of the desirability of having the theater's marquee on Euclid Avenue, the State Theatre was built at the back of the lot it shares with the Ohio Theatre, but with a 320-foot-long (98 m) series of three lobbies. This was the world's longest lobby serving a single theater,[2] and it contained four huge murals by James Daugherty, entitled The Spirit of Pageantry—Africa, The Spirit of Drama—Europe, The Spirit of Cinema—America, and The Spirit of Fantasy—Asia. For Macro Mondays "Contained" theme, the top part of the acorn in which the nut is "contained" is called the cupule. There are six cupules here, but only four contain nuts, and a couple of those are starting to crack and decay.
I gathered these acorns a couple of months ago and they came in handy for this week's theme. My wife was happy to learn that I'll be throwing them out now that I've photographed them, and will no longer be keeping them on my bedroom dresser. :-)

Die kleinen transparenten Herzen ändern je nach Lichteinfall ihre Farbe. In der vergangenen Woche hatte ich sie für "Knolling" ausgelegt. Jetzt sind sie wieder in ihrer Zellophantüte.
The small transparent hearts change color depending on the light. Last week I designed it for knolling. Now they are "contained" again in their cellophane bag.

Our grandson had an activity pack from preschool and it contained some balloons. I borrowed one for a photo.

Actually, I just wanted to see if I could find a suitable subject for today. So I opened the big boxes in which I keep small treasures (mainly for Macro Mondays). By the way, I am a passionate collector – you could also call me a messy ;-) And I found this matchbox in which, in addition to the three matches, there was – what a surprise – a spidered moth and its eggs ... This matchbox, by the way, has to be at least 20 years old – the shoe store does not exist for ages – I think he closed in the last century ;-)

Eigentlich wollte ich nur einmal gucken, ob ich ein geeignetes Objekt für heute finde. Also öffnete ich die großen Schachteln, in denen bei mir kleine Schätze (hauptsächlich für Macro Mondays) aufbewahrt werden. Nur nebenbei, Ich bin leidenschaftlicher Sammler – man könnte mich auch als Messie bezeichnen ;-) Und ich fand diese Streichholzschachtel, in der außer den drei Streichhölzern auch noch – welch Überraschung – eine eingesponnene Motte nebst ihren Eiern lag ... Diese Schachtel muss übrigens mindestens 20 Jahre alt sein – der Schuhladen existiert schon ewig nicht mehr – ich glaube, er hat im letzten Jahrhundert geschlossen ;-)

In front of Rotterdam Central Station, on the Stationsplein, you will find this almost four meter high bronze statue of a young woman titled 'Moments Contained' (2023) by the British artist Thomas J Price. The Droom en Daad Foundation donated the artwork to the city of Rotterdam.

Thomas J Price (London, 1981) is known for his large bronze sculptures of contemporary figures he calls 'everymen' and 'everywomen'. He wants to dismantle the power structures that maintain traditional sculpture and consciously chooses to create imaginary characters.
His sculptures are created by combining classical sculpture and new digital technology. Despite their scale, the images appear modest and instantly recognizable, inviting us to reflect on how we collectively occupy the space.
'Moments Contained' is about the feeling of being dismissed as 'the other'. Price: “I've placed my work in public space before and I love that it makes people aware of the things that have surrounded us for centuries, thousands of years – often images of powerful men. The scale of the work is there to challenge our current conceptions of outdoor art, who is allowed to be seen? Who should be represented?"
At first glance, the woman appears stoic, but the knuckle marks in her trouser pockets reveal that she's not actually as casual as she appears.
Price: “For me, there is a sense of self-control or emotion and psychological tension that can be expressed at any moment. It stands for the emotions and the recognition of them, even if the other person is not like you."
