One of my favourite books as a child was The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. My mother had a very old copy from her own childhood and I was enthralled by the Victorian era story of the orphaned Mary who came from India where her parents had died to live with a cold uncle in his bleak Yorkshire manse.
Mary gradually uncovers the story of the house’s ‘Secret Garden’. This image is about the discovery of the key to the garden:
Mary tentatively asks (gardener) Ben Weatherstaff if anything is still living in the secret garden, and he replies that only the robin knows, as no one else has been inside in ten years. Mary wanders off, following the wall of the garden without a door. The robin follows her and leads her to a mound of freshly turned earth, which, when Mary examines it closely, contains a tarnished key that has long been buried. It may, Mary thinks, be the key to the secret garden.

A rose is a woody perennial of the genus Rosa, within the family Rosaceae. There are over 100 species and thousands of cultivars. They form a group of plants that can be erect shrubs, climbing or trailing with stems that are often armed with sharp prickles. Flowers vary in size and shape and are usually large and showy, in colours ranging from white through yellows and reds. Most species are native to Asia, with smaller numbers native to Europe, North America, and northwest Africa. Species, cultivars and hybrids are all widely grown for their beauty and often are fragrant. Rose plants range in size from compact, miniature roses, to climbers that can reach seven meters in height. Different species hybridize easily, and this has been used in the development of the wide range of garden roses. The name rose comes from French, itself from Latin rosa, which was perhaps borrowed from Oscan, from Greek ρόδον rhódon (Aeolic βρόδον wródon), itself borrowed from Old Persian wrd- (wurdi), related to Avestan varəδa, Sogdian ward, Parthian wâr. The leaves are borne alternately on the stem. In most species they are 5 to 15 centimetres (2.0 to 5.9 in) long, pinnate, with (3–) 5–9 (–13) leaflets and basal stipules; the leaflets usually have a serrated margin, and often a few small prickles on the underside of the stem. Most roses are deciduous but a few (particularly from South east Asia) are evergreen or nearly so. The hybrid garden rose "Amber Flush" The flowers of most species have five petals, with the exception of Rosa sericea, which usually has only four. Each petal is divided into two distinct lobes and is usually white or pink, though in a few species yellow or red. Beneath the petals are five sepals (or in the case of some Rosa sericea, four). These may be long enough to be visible when viewed from above and appear as green points alternating with the rounded petals. There are multiple superior ovaries that develop into achenes. Roses are insect-pollinated in nature. The aggregate fruit of the rose is a berry-like structure called a rose hip. Many of the domestic cultivars do not produce hips, as the flowers are so tightly petalled that they do not provide access for pollination. The hips of most species are red, but a few (e.g. Rosa pimpinellifolia) have dark purple to black hips. Each hip comprises an outer fleshy layer, the hypanthium, which contains 5–160 "seeds" (technically dry single-seeded fruits called achenes) embedded in a matrix of fine, but stiff, hairs. Rose hips of some species, especially the dog rose (Rosa canina) and rugosa rose (Rosa rugosa), are very rich in vitamin C, among the richest sources of any plant. The hips are eaten by fruit-eating birds such as thrushes and waxwings, which then disperse the seeds in their droppings. Some birds, particularly finches, also eat the seeds. Rose thorns are actually prickles – outgrowths of the epidermis.
While the sharp objects along a rose stem are commonly called "thorns", they are technically prickles — outgrowths of the epidermis (the outer layer of tissue of the stem). (True thorns, as produced by e.g. Citrus or Pyracantha, are modified stems, which always originate at a node and which have nodes and internodes along the length of the thorn itself.) Rose prickles are typically sickle-shaped hooks, which aid the rose in hanging onto other vegetation when growing over it. Some species such as Rosa rugosa and Rosa pimpinellifolia have densely packed straight prickles, probably an adaptation to reduce browsing by animals, but also possibly an adaptation to trap wind-blown sand and so reduce erosion and protect their roots (both of these species grow naturally on coastal sand dunes). Despite the presence of prickles, roses are frequently browsed by deer. A few species of roses have only vestigial prickles that have no points.
In its freshly ground form (from whole nutmegs), nutmeg contains myristicin, a monoamine oxidase inhibitor and psychoactive substance. Myristicin poisoning can induce convulsions, palpitations, nausea, eventual dehydration, and generalized body pain. Rather disturbingly it was commonly used in the middle ages to induce abortions, although in what quantities is unclear.
The Hackberry General Store contains a number of items many might call offensive, such as this Cigar Store Indian. Depending on the age and condition, these statues can be quite valuable. They were originally created in the 1600's in England to indicate a Tobacco shop since natives introduced Europeans to tobacco smoking. Gradually the practice crossed over to the US. Hackberry General Store does sell cigars and if the price were right, they would probably sell their statue as well.
Northern Xinjiang's Altay (Aletai) Prefecture contains some of the province's most spectacular scenery. Closely resembling the climate of southern Siberia, Kanas Nature Reserve is home to snow peaks, glaciers, alpine forests and lakes. Within the primitive forests and snow covered peaks of Lake Kanas (Hanasi Hu,喀纳斯湖) region is China's answer to the Swiss Alps.
If the stunning Siberian-like scenery wasn't enough there is some mystery thrown in regarding what is known as China's Nessie - the Kansas Lake Monster, apparently sighted in 2005 and again in 2006!
The Kanas Lake (one of top five most beautiful lakes in China) area, with its abundance of meadows and grassland, is the only place in China that is home to the Tuva (Tuwa) People who are a small ethnic minority group of Mongolian descent. The Tuvans mainly live in three villages - Kanas village(喀纳斯村) , Hemu (Horm) village (禾木村), Baihaba village (白哈巴村) - around the Kanas Lake. They are proud to believe that they are the descendents of Genghis Khan, and that they were left behind to guard these lands during the Great Khan’s conquest of the rest of Asia and Europe. The Tuvans do not live in yurts as do the Mongolians, but in square houses built of logs with a roof plastered with thick mud and half-buried in the ground to resist the chillness of winter.
Best time to visit the Tuvan villages is from June to September. You will be absolutely blown away by the dazzling birch, spruce, larch and elm trees in the fall while the village is literally covered in yellow and gold.

Isalo is one of Madagascar's most beautiful parks. It contains sculpted buttes, vertical rock walls and, best of all, deep canyon floors shot through with streams, lush vegetation and pools for swimming. All of this changes with the light, culminating in extraordinary sunsets beneath a big sky. Add all this to easy access off the RN7 and you understand why this is Madagascar’s most visited park.
At more than 800 sq km, it’s also a large park, so if you want to go off on your own there is plenty of room for exploration, with everything from two-hour to week-long hikes. There's also an excellent chance of spotting ring-tailed lemurs and Verreaux's sifaka around the Nemaza campsite.

Macro Mondays - Holiday Bokeh
One of the many signs of (looming) Christmas for me is mince pies (formerly known as Christmas pies), something I have tried to create here, adorned with holly and a sprinkling of icing sugar, and set against a string of fairy lights.
As a child I remember my mother making mince pies, as did everyone as Christmas drew near, and that tradition is as strong today as it ever was. In fact, the stores take it a step further, and signal the coming holidays from September onwards!
A mince pie (also mincemeat pie in New England, and fruit mince pie in Australia and New Zealand) is a sweet pie of British origin, filled with a mixture of dried fruits and spices called ‘mincemeat’, that is traditionally served during the Christmas season in the English-speaking world. Its ingredients are traceable to the 13th century, when returning European crusaders brought with them Middle Eastern recipes containing meats, fruits and spices.
Happy and Festive Macro Mondays everybody!
Southsea Castle contains a lighthouse, commissioned by the Admiralty, was constructed on the western gun platform of the castle in 1828. In 1854 its height was raised and it now stands at 34 feet (10 m) above its base atop the walls. The lamp burned sperm oil and was installed behind a fixed lens. The lighthouse keeper was housed in the castle itself. The lighthouse was in continuous use until 2017.
Containing five of the ten largest trees in the world, Sequoia National Park contains the highest point in the contiguous United States (Mount Whitney) and is notable for it’s fantastic display of old-growth sequoia forests. When driving into the park, the landscape was dry and the weather sunny, but as the hairpin road quickly ascended in steep elevation, it was like being transported into a misty cloud where these majestic giants stand sentry in the fog. Walking the trails through the Giant Forest among the most massive trees on earth in the ethereal mist and the snow was like being in a dream, and reminds me of humankind’s minuteness, yet powerful influence over the fate of these timeless organisms.

Tilted red tower marks entrance to Polish war museum by Kwadrat, Gdansk
An angled tower wrapped in red concrete panels and glazing contains the entrance to this second world war museum, which is mostly housed beneath the surface of a public plaza in the Polish city of Gdansk. A jury headed by Daniel Libeskind awarded Studio Architektoniczne Kwadrat the project for the Museum of the Second World War following an international competition in 2010. The studio, which is based in the nearby town of Gdynia, said it put forward a proposal that was "a bit risky", but also "something unusual, very distinctive and memorable".
A tower rising 40.5 metres above the new public square provides the dominant feature of the building, which is located next to a canal in a district called Wiadrownia that was destroyed during fighting in 1945. "The idea behind the design is simple enough," said the architects, "to position the main part of the museum underground so as not to completely use up the small plot of land intended for investment. We have concealed the other functions in a sculptural form. In this way, it was possible to find space for a vast square, and the whole premise became symbolic."
The project comprises three distinct but connected parts, with the underground spaces dedicated to the past, the plaza representing the present, and the tower symbolising the future. The monolithic tower features surfaces set at angles as much as 45 degrees from the vertical, lending it a dynamic appearance that alters when viewed from different directions. Three of its four trapezoidal facades are clad in terracotta-red panels, while the fourth side and kinked roof are filled in with glazing that allows natural light to flood into the interior.
"This simple sculptural form, devoid of literal meaning, evokes various associations," said the architects. "It has already been likened to a bastion, a barrier, a crumbling house or a bunker, and when illuminated at night, it resembles a burning candle. At the same time, it fits in with the city image and the geometry of shipyard cranes – the symbol of the port of Gdansk."
The glazed facade of the tower incorporates an entrance at its base, which is situated at basement level and is reached by a wide set of steps leading down from the plaza. The tower contains a library, lecture halls and a restaurant with a viewpoint looking out across the city skyline. The majority of the 23,000 m2 building is located beneath the paved public square, which aims to provide people with a place to meet, socialise and relax. Staircases descend from the entrance through a large void to the level of the ticket office, cloakroom and exhibition spaces dedicated to telling the story of the war in Poland. A corridor with a narrow skylight at its apex guides visitors through a series of austere exhibition rooms featuring a palette of concrete, steel and oak details.
In addition to digital displays and physical exhibits, the spaces include several recreations of places such as a pre-war shopping street, ruined buildings surrounding a Soviet tank, and the interior of a Warsaw apartment reflecting different stages of the conflict. At the level of the plaza, a bridge connects the tower with a long, narrow volume containing offices. A walkway that passes beneath the bridge is lined with gabion cages filled with red brick and rubble from Gdansk. A further wedge-shaped structure that emerges from the square contains the entrance to an underground parking garage. Both this volume and the offices are clad in the same red tiles as the tower to create a consistent aesthetic across the museum's different spaces.

Own camera tools, Reshade, SRWE, own hud toggle.
Thanks to the person who donated the game to me, tools are now available! Please read the included readme.
The HUD toggle is needed to get timestop in cutscenes. See the readme for details.
Enjoy!
Edit: Posts from people who come here and post support requests with vague texts get deleted. If the camera doesn't work, that's too bad. If it has bugs, open a github issue and clearly describe the bug. I create these cameras for fun for myself and share them online so others can use them too. Within reasonable boundaries I try to update cameras if they contain a bug or if the game gets patched quickly after I released a camera.
However I won't fix cameras a long time after it's been released, nor do I help with your struggles with an injector on windows 10, as I don't use windows 10. I'll try to include an injector which works next time but that's about it.
Loch Lomond is a freshwater Scottish loch which crosses the Highland Boundary Fault. It is the largest inland stretch of water in Great Britain by surface area. The loch contains many islands, including Inchmurrin, the largest fresh-water island in the British Isles. Loch Lomond is a popular leisure destination and is featured in the song "The Bonnie Banks o' Loch Lomond". The Loch is now part of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park which was established in 2002. Loch Lomond is a corruption of the Gaelic Lac Leaman, or 'Lake of the Elms'.

The fortress contains buildings dating as far back as the 1240s, as well as later constructions built as recently as World War II. The extent of the enclosed area of today dates from the early 19th century. In medieval times, the area of the present-day Bergenhus Fortress was known as Holmen (The islet), and contained the royal residence in Bergen, as well as a cathedral and several churches, the bishop's residence, and a Dominican monastery. Excavations have revealed foundations of buildings believed to date back to before 1100, which might have been erected by King Olav Kyrre. In the 13th century, until 1299, Bergen was the capital of Norway and Holmen was thus the main seat of Norway's rulers. It was first enclosed by stone walls in the 1240s.
The ossuary is a memorial containing the remains of both French and German soldiers who died on the Verdun battlefield. Through small outside windows, the skeletal remains of at least 130,000 unidentified combatants of both nations can be seen filling up alcoves at the lower edge of the building. On the inside of the ossuary building, the ceiling and walls are partly covered by plaques bearing names of French soldiers who died during the Battle of Verdun. A few of the names are from fighting that took place in the area during World War II, as well as for veterans of the Indochina and Algerian Wars. The families of the soldiers that are recognized here by name contributed for those individual plaques.

Sweat bee
=================
Initial tentative ID was something in the Perdita genus (containing about 600 species), given that it's about half the size of a grain of rice. Probably the smallest bee I've ever seen. The metallic brass color is interesting, but it seemed too small to be a sweat bee (plus, I thought that the metallic sweat bees are green). Feeding on Cleveland sage. Pollen grains and droplets of nectar are both available for this little one.
Perditas and sweat bees alike are some of the smallest bees in existence anywhere (smaller than the eyes of some other bees), but they are, nonetheless, very important pollinators, and can carry a surprising amount of the grains on their bodies). They, along with hoverflies, are small enough to some flowers that larger bees cannot. Ironically, though, they, like, carpenter bees can also engage in nectar-robbing -- from flowers that are too deep. This sage blossom is wonderful for this little one, as the well-exposed anthers have pollen and droplets of nectar a little further down the stamen, available to a variety of bee species. Flat flowers like yarrow are also readily accessible forage for many kinds of bees, flies, butterflies and other pollinators.
There are about 1000 species of sweat bees in the US.
This modest photograph contains three active regions with important spots that have configured the solar view during these days passing through its surface. As a curious fact, you can see luminous bridges in almost all the main spots. The spot on the right above (active region 3553) has two light bridges. Furthermore, towards the limbus the faculae are clearly visible, which can be seen as bright lines following an irregular geometry. The word facula comes from Latin and means 'small flame' and, currently, it is known that they are closely related to spots, because when a compact facular region is observed it is an indication that there will soon be a spot or that it has just been diluted .
Also, in this image you can see the Wilson effect, which shows that by mere perspective, towards the limb, the concentric geometry of the spot is lost. The width of the spot remains constant in a line parallel to the limbus but shortens perpendicularly.
This image is the result of stacking the 50 best frames of a video, captured in white light with my Maksutov-Cassegrain "Explore Scientific" 127 telescope, f/15, with Meade 575 solar filter, Player One Neptune-M camera and Player filter One IR685.

M81 and M82 are a pair of interacting galaxies found in the constellation of Ursa Major.
M81 was discovered by Johann Alert Bode in 1774. The galaxy is approximately 11.5 million light years from earth and is one of the brightest galaxies in the night sky.
M82 also discovered by Johann Alert Bode, is known for its elongated cigar shape seen from Earth and contains high levels of star formation giving its alternative name the Starburst Galaxy. M82 is approximately 12 million light years from Earth.
This wide field image also includes NGC 3077, NGC 2961, NGC 2959 and NGC 2976.
One of the objectives for this wide field image was to capture the IFN (Integrated Flux Nebula) that surrounds the region. This is why over 50 hours of imaging was taken to pick up the weak background signal.
Primarily the RGB was taken using a UV/UR cut filter during the moonless nights, and then the Ha data was added from a narrowband session using the Optolong L-Extreme 3nm filter during brighter moonlit nights. This narrowband data improves the definition of the red Ha jets being ejected from the galaxy core go M82.
Imaged from my home in Gergal, Spain over 8 nights in February and March 2023.

Good night friends.
Kingfishers or Alcedinidae are a family of small to medium-sized, brightly colored birds in the order Coraciiformes. They have a cosmopolitan distribution, with most species found outside the Americas. The family contains 114 species and is divided into three subfamilies: river kingfishers (Alcedininae), tree kingfishers (Halcyoninae), and water kingfishers (Cerylinae). All kingfishers have large heads, long, sharp, pointed bills, short legs, and stubby tails. Most species have bright plumage with only small differences between the sexes. Most species are tropical in distribution, and a slight majority are found only in forests. They consume a wide range of prey usually caught by swooping down from a perch. While kingfishers are usually thought to live near rivers and eat fish, many species live away from water and eat small invertebrates. Like other members of their order, they nest in cavities, usually tunnels dug into the natural or artificial banks in the ground. Some kingfishers nest in arboreal termite nests. A few species, principally insular forms, are threatened with extinction. In Britain, the word "kingfisher" normally refers to the common kingfisher.

The Barnacle Goose (Branta leucopsis) belongs to the genus Branta of black geese, which contains species with largely black plumage, distinguishing them from the grey Anser species.
The Barnacle Goose is a medium-sized goose, 55 - 70 cm long, with a wingspan of 130 - 145 cm and a weight of 1.2 - 2.2 kg. It has a white face and black head, neck, and upper breast. Its belly is white. The wings and its back are silver-gray with black-and-white bars that look like they are shining when the light reflects on it. It flies in packs and long lines, with a noisy chorus of barking or yapping sounds.
Barnacle geese feed on grasses and coastal plants found in salt marshes, grasslands near river estuaries or tidal mud flats.
The wintering population (130.000 birds) in the Netherlands breeds in Arctic Russia and the Baltic.
This picture was taken at the Lauwersmeer, a man-made lake in the north of the Netherlands, on the border of the provinces of Groningen and Friesland. The lake was formed on 1969, when the dike between the bay called Lauwerssea" and the Waddensea was closed. The Lauwersmeer is now one of the famoust birding areas in Western Europe. The area is famous for the huge numbers of birds. During the winter months the Lauwersmeer is famous for the huge numbers of geese. You will see thousands of Barnacle Geese, White Fronted Geese, Greylag Geese and also good numbers of Bean Geese, Brant, Tundra Swan and Whooper Swan.

The Gay Street Commercial Historic District contains forty-five buildings and one object, centered on Gay Street in Downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. It is the historic commercial and retail heart of Knoxville. The buildings within its boundaries were built to house such uses as furniture stores, pharmacies, department stores, and banks. Hotels, theaters, residential apartments, offices, and a newspaper were also located in the district. This area reflects the social, architectural, and economic evolution of Knoxville from the post-Civil War period until the onset of World War II. Architecturally, the district mirrors design changes occurring at the national level and contains some of the best local examples of these styles. Italianate, Romanesque Revival, Renaissance Revival, and Art Deco buildings embellished with stone, brick, and terra cotta trim are well represented in the district.
Located at 618 South Gay Street, this is the Knoxville Journal & Tribune Arcade constructed circa 1924. Built in a Classical Revival design, it is a two-story brick with front elevation clad in stone. Engaged fluted columns capped by acanthus leaf capitals divide front elevation into five bays with a central entryway marked by a cornice supported by console brackets. And, entablature with projecting dentiled cornice adds detail above the second story windows. Although storefront alterations have occurred to some buildings, this one remains virtually untouched and in its originally designed state. Today, it is just known as the Arcade Building and houses office suites.
The photograph above is just one example of the buildings in the Gay Street Commercial Historic District that was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 4, 1986. All of the information above (and much more about the whole district) was found on the original documents submitted for listing consideration and can be viewed here: npgallery.nps.gov/NRHP/AssetDetail/7dad2f95-7838-4caa-973...
Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.

Outside shelves - porch (Master Nicholaus twelfth century) are represented the twelve months of the year (here August July June) - Basilica of San Zeno Verona
Basilica of San Zeno, Verona
Main masterpiece of Romanesque architecture in Italy, the Basilica of San Zeno is one of the most important buildings of the city. It is dedicated to the eighth bishop of Verona, a saint of African origin to which are attributed many miracles, and the conversion to Christianity of Veneto populations. The original nucleus of the San Zeno Basilica dates back to the fourth century, when a small church was built near the site of the Holy Burial.
The interior, with a Latin cross plan with three naves, presents a peculiar split on three levels: the crypt is at the bottom, topped by the first parish church and then from the presbytery (or Upper Church) which can be accessed via two majestic marble staircases. Even the great cloister (which is accessed through the left aisle) is Romanesque and dates from the twelfth century, composed of numerous small arches supported by twin columns, contains ancient tombs, ancient frescos and a shrine containing the wash of the friars.
The family Phylliidae contains the extant true leaf insects or walking leaves, which include some of the most remarkably camouflaged leaf mimics (mimesis) in the entire animal kingdom. They occur from South Asia through Southeast Asia to Australia.
"
"Leaf insects are camouflaged taking on the appearance of leaves. They do this so accurately that predators often are not able to distinguish them from real leaves. In some species the edge of the leaf insect's body even has the appearance of bite marks. To further confuse predators, when the leaf insect walks, it rocks back and forth, to mimic a real leaf being blown by the wind.>
