President Obama is consistently making waves in the White House. His latest revamp of government shows OTHER government officials HOW to give back to the public. This weekend Obama help to celebrate one of the those holidays that have always goten swepted under the rug. Yes you guessed it ( or maybe not because you also have forgotten about it ), but he brought back to the light FATHERS DAY with a BBQ on the White House lawn.

This will of course send many HATERS into a frenzy. Fueled by racial ignorance, political party biases and a sheeple of Fox news followers, there will be plenty to talk about after this weekend. They fail to see the community activist in Obama and will no doubt only focus on the racial undertone behind the BBQ. Regardless of THIER hangups those pics of the steaks they are cooking look great.

Consistently more sideways than anyone else through Stadium!

After squandering a three-goal, third-period lead to the visiting Seattle Kraken on Thursday, the Ottawa Senators hardly squirmed in rallying for an overtime victory.

"We played a really good game for probably 40, 45 minutes and then it started to go sideways," said Ottawa's Josh Norris, whose two goals included the OT winner. "But it is what it is. You get yourself in that hole and you've got to dig yourself out."

The Senators will look to surge ahead and stay there on Saturday when they host the Chicago Blackhawks in the second of a five-game homestand.

Thursday's 4-3 win helped smooth a run of six losses in seven games at Canadian Tire Centre, where Ottawa seeks to claim consecutive victories for the first time since winning three home games in a row from Jan. 31 to Feb. 8.

In addition to Norris' heroics and goaltender Anton Forsberg's 30 saves, Brady Tkachuk lifted the Senators with a goal and assist. Playing in his 100th game, Norris reached 39 career goals to match Alexei Yashin's franchise record for the most goals in that span.

"Our big guys were our big guys," Ottawa coach D.J. Smith said, "and Brady and Norris came to play. ... When your best players are your best players, you win on a lot of nights."

Chicago has lost three of four and seven of 10 after falling 4-3 at Boston on Thursday.

The Bruins' David Pastrnak beat goaltender Kevin Lankinen for the game-winner. Pastrnak's second goal of the night came with 18 seconds remaining.

Oh man. 13 games of consistently tense playoff hockey for the Montreal Canadiens. I couldn't count on my fingers and toes how many times in the past couple months I've heard people say they won't do it. They won't make it to the playoffs, they won't beat Washington, they won't beat Pittsburgh. Now finally, after proving themselves through 7 wins in the playoffs, their goalie having the highest save percentage, and their forward having the most goals in the playoffs, people are starting to wonder - Are the Stanley Cup defenders going to get taken out by the Montreal Canadiens, a team that hasn't won the Stanley Cup in nearly 2 decades?

And I say they are. Tomorrow is another game 7. It's do or die for both the Canadiens and the Penguins. I'll be watching, in my habs hat and shirt, with my face 20 centimeters from the television.

Most likely - Steenbok - Raphicerus campestris - both female.

In the pitch dark with leopards , lions and hyenas all around. No wonder they are so nervous having to face the threat of the carnivores every single night.

Shoulder height is only 50 cms.

There are two distinct clusters in steenbok distribution. In East Africa, it occurs in central and southern Kenya and northern Tanzania. It was formerly widespread in Uganda, but is now almost certainly extinct there. In Southern Africa, it occurs in Angola, Namibia, South Africa, Eswatini, Botswana, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe and probably Lesotho.

Steenbok live in a variety of habitats from semi-desert, such as the edge of the Kalahari Desert and Etosha National Park, to open woodland and thickets, including open plains, stony savannah, and Acacia–grassland mosaics. They are said to favour unstable or transitional habitats. At least in the central part of Kruger National Park, South Africa, Steenbok show a distinct preference for Acacia tortilis savannah throughout the year, with no tendency to migrate to moister areas during the dry season (unlike many larger African savannah ungulates, including species sympatric with Steenbok in the wet season).

Population density is typically 0.3–1.0 individuals per square kilometre, reaching 4 per km2 in optimal habitats.

Steenbok typically browse on low-level vegetation (they cannot reach above 0.9 m, but are also adept at scraping up roots and tubers. In central Kruger National Park, Steenbok show a distinct preference for forbs, and then woody plants (especially Flueggea virosa) when few forbs are available. They will also take fruits and only very rarely graze on grass. They are almost entirely independent of drinking water, gaining the moisture they need from their food.

Steenbok are active during the day and the night; however, during hotter periods, they rest under shade during the heat of the day. The time spent feeding at night increases in the dry season. While resting, they may be busy grooming, ruminating or taking brief spells of sleep.

Steenbok typically lie low in vegetation cover at the first sign of threat. At the first sign of trouble, steenbok typically lie low in the vegetation. If a predator or perceived threat comes closer, a steenbok will leap away and follow a zigzag route to try to shake off the pursuer. Escaping steenbok frequently stop to look back, and flight is alternated with prostration during extended pursuit. They are known to take refuge in the burrows of aardvarks. Known predators include Southern African wildcat, caracal, jackals, leopard, martial eagle and pythons.

Steenbok are typically solitary, except for when a pair come together to mate. However, it has been suggested that pairs occupy consistent territories while living independently, staying in contact through scent markings, so that they know where their mate is most of the time. Scent marking is primarily through dung middens. Territories range from 4 hectares to 1 square kilometre. The male is aggressive during the female's oestrus, engaging in "bluff-and-bluster" type displays with rival males—prolonged contests invariably involve well-matched individuals, usually in their prime.

Breeding occurs throughout the year, although more fawns are born November to December in the southern spring–summer; some females may breed twice a year. Gestation period is about 170 days, and usually a single fawn is produced. The fawn is kept hidden in vegetation for 2 weeks, but suckles for 3 months. Females become sexually mature at 6–8 months and males at 9 months.

Steenbok are known to live for 7 years or more.

Accommodations in Lahaina, Maui are sought after year round, making this rustic seaside port one of Hawaii’s top tourist destinations. Lahaina’s consistent sunshine and temperate climate combines with its historic beauty and culture to entice visitors worldwide. As the gateway to Maui’s west side communities, Lahaina is also the predominate cultural and business sector.

Having trained consistently for almost the entire December holidays, our scrabble team entered the tournament with high hopes of reaching the semi-finals. It was a morale boost during our match with Hall 4 when we won all five boards with ease. More notable plays include DROGUES by Auntie Killer Jacky Gan.

Next up was Hall 1. Hall 1 boasts a deep team of players with powerful knowledge of words due to many of them being boggle players as well. It was a nail biting fight to the finish against, as it was tied 2-2 after the first 4 games concluded. However, our last board trailed by a mere 2 points, losing out to Hall 1 (2 – 3). It was an unexpected loss but out team picked ourselves up and continued on to clean out Hall 2 with a perfect sweep.

The match up against Hall 9 was important as they were one of our greater threats in the group. However, we comfortably outplayed them to a 4 – 1 victory. More notable plays included 8 letter scrabble WIDOWERS by Sze Wing and obscure words such as ETESIAN by Alton.

The final victory of the day came from Hall 10, we swept Hall 10 aside with ease, winning 5 – 0. Jeya Seelan sealed the sweep by playing an emphatic JUGHEAD against a baffled opponent.

As we unexpectedly lost to Hall 1, and would have to win all our remaining two games tomorrow in order to secure a spot in the semi-finals. This includes beating Hall 16, which boasts arguably the top two scrabble players of NTU. We wish the scrabble team all the best for their match-ups tomorrow!

Where ability and rules permit, Geraldine never says “NO” to customers. She consistently strives at her best to fulfil customers’ urgent requests, even if it means to sacrifice her time.

Once, a customer approached Geraldine at Orchard branch to open an account just before the branch closing hours. However, the customer had left her IC inside her car parked at Somerset. Instead of turning the customer away, Geraldine offered to wait for her to retrieve her IC from her car. Geraldine then assisted the customer to open an account and applied for a credit card even though the interaction had already gone beyond branch hours. Because of her sincerity and passion towards serving the customer, Geraldine was complimented by her customer, “Thumbs up for having a staff like Geraldine who is an asset to OCBC”.

With her patience and care showered upon all customers, even difficult ones, Geraldine’s genuine service attitude has won her peers’ admiration and her customers’ gratitude.

After consistent snow over the central belt and southern highlands on 13 Feb, the forecast was for blue skys on Sun 14. Early up, but not first, a fellow walker told me to go 30m above the summit path off the beaten track.

I've consistently considered love to be the defining force in my life, especially that perfect emulsification of friendship and romance. Ever since I was young, I remember seeing people passionate about each other and believing that it was meant for me. But it's a far gulf to bridge when you're an irrepressible introvert, so shy that you don't even make a real friend until your late teens. It's important to relate just how distant I was from the notion of human contact. I wasn't myself around other people, never the version of me I hoped to get across. Susy had a way of connecting that no one ever matched, bouncing along through my scattered anxiety and randomness of thought, following along without getting lost. All these years later, she's still the only person I really need to talk to. No matter how true their hearts, the rest would suffice for a couple conversations a year. She's all my hopes for humankind come true.

Tobe Nwigwe is one of the most consistently creative artists working today, with a singular artistic vision only matched by the prolificacy of his output. He, Fat and Nell (and the kids!) have this unified aesthetic from furniture to clothing, and the Pandemic Project was an uplifting event at a time when everything was bleak. The whole family-centred approach to music and video creation is radically wholesome and is really inspirational, but there's room for brooding and darkness in there too. I'm a bit of a fan. It's utterly jaw-dropping how much music he's put out in the last year. Did I mention I'm a bit of a fan?

This is a caricture portrait of Tobe Nwigwe and Fat created in Procreate for the iPad. I intend to do a series of caricature portraits to hone my digital painting. I'm quite late to the digital game so the learning curve is somewhere between a really large hoola-hoop and one of the rings of Saturn. I'm finding it a curse and a blessing, there's huge time savings to be had but an amazing gulf conceptually between drawing on paper and drawing and painting digitally. It's the long way to Carnagie Hall for the next while.

I'm Allan Cavanagh and I have been professionally producing caricatures and cartoon art for over 20 years.

Truly might want to pick the most ideal choice and pick the trendiest prints to wear in the impending preparation. The style business is continuously advancing. Consistently, recent fads are presented, while others cease to exist or are changed to give women the trendy appearance they want. You should constantly take a gander at the most up-to-date style that is acquainted with every year settle on the suitable choice and pick things that will elevate your polish and increment your fashion instinct. Every year, notable design beauticians, houses, and fashioners propose new varieties, prints, Pattern images, and dress patterns.

This year, the tiger supplanted pythons and cheetahs as the most unmistakable and significant animal skin patterns on the dress. Clothing with this print was displayed on a few runways and habitually on a wide range of garments, much of the time keeping up with the shades of normal tiger stripes.

For example, the spring configuration was regularly the clearest part of the outfit at Kenneth Ize and Salvatore Ferragamo. The tiger thunder was greatly muffled at Missoni, with just a light snarl radiating from a strappy triangle bra. The sole prerequisite is to have a ball to wear in tiger print this season.

I’m certain many individuals are keen on the print pattern at this moment. Each style woman is upbeat that the old-fashioned design reject consolidating plans has at long last dropped off the radar. The insane print mixes in this style impeccably epitomize how we can all show our distinction.

Throughout the course of recent years, the universe of configuration has been altogether influenced by a few significant print improvements. Pattern and print, whether through a complicated plan or a limited variety range, have forever been versatile and dynamic plan parts. We analyze the absolute most famous print patterns in this article so you might keep awake to date with print configuration patterns.

Contemporary planners normally accepted this as motivation and stacked different print and patterns on top of each other to create a plan that would without a doubt breeze through the TikTok assessment.

Pop workmanship dresses are right now a famous pattern in dress and extras among many style devotees and creators. Look at an in-vogue way of wearing it and we should talk more about it to embrace this fabulous pattern and infuse some fun into your life.

As we as a whole realize that recent fads are once in a while recurrent and different times they address the ongoing age’s mainstream society. Pop art print on realistic shirts or other attire things is as of now very famous among youngsters.

"CONSISTENT HARD WORK GAINS VICTORIES! "

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE :

Dear esteemed Parents & Guardians,

Some people dream of success. While others wake up and work hard at it. The key to success is consistency. Hardwork betrays none.

Great things come from our hard and be kind to everybody and amazing things will happen in our life. We should learn everyday the value of hard work by working hard.

Goals on the road to Achievement cannot be achieved without discipline and consistency. Consistent hard work will always bring consistent miracle in our life.

Results happen overtime not over night. We should workhard and stay consistent and be patient.

Victories are not born on field. We should create them during regular practice day in and day out.

Let us remember that success demands consistent effort and hard work.

This a second film with my Nikon F4 to test further of its numerous functions. In particular, I would like to test the DX ISO coding, the spot metering, and the motorized film rewind. During the first test film I used mostly my external lightmeter Minolta Autometer III to check that the metering of the camera was consistent with. Here, I decided I leave the Autometer at home and to use only the Nikon F4 metering.

The Nikon F4 was loaded with a Rollei RPX100 which is the former Agfa APX100 well-known for the particular large tone range. From view 1 to 24, the AF Nikkor lens 1:1.4 f=50mm was fitted with a Yellow screw-on 52mm filter and from view 25 to the end with a Hoya HMC anti-UV protection filter. A generic cylindric metal shade hood was used all the time.

The film sensitivity was set by the camera automatically from the DX code of the Rollei RPX100 35mm cartridge. The first test film was a Fomapan 200 which is not DX coded. The Nikon F4 allows a manual ISO setting. In the DX mode, if no cartridge is present or if a not DX-coded cartridge is inserted, a red LED is blinking and not action of the shutter is possible.

The spot metering in the Nikon F4 if located behind the mirror in the reflex chamber and combined with the CCD focus sensor. The the matrix and center averaged mode is operated by different photo-diodes in the removable DP-20 photometric viewer. I mostly used the spot metering mode in my usual way, privileging the shadows. I saw that the matrix mode gave very closed results. The measure were usually manually reported to the camera in the "M" mode except for one view (Nr. 3) where I left the Nikon choosing the shutter speed (approx. 1/3000s) according to the aperture (full aperture in this case f/1.4).

As for my medium-format session, I took a bit of time to note on a session ticket the main parameter (shutter speed, aperture, focusing distance). The weather was still very mild and sunny during all the session in the afternoon.

View Nr 3: 1/3000s f/1.4 focus at 0.85 m

After completion, the film was rewound using the rewinding motor (lever R1 then lever R2). During the film rewind (manual or auto) the view counter decrements and I switched-off the R2 lever just arrived at zero. I terminated the process manual to keep the film leader outside the cartridge.

I then processed the film developed using 300 mL of Adox Adonal (Agfa Rodinal) developer prepared at the dilution 1+25 for 9min at 20°C.

Digitizing was made using a Sony A7 camera (ILCE-7, 24MP) held on a Minolta Auto Bellows with the Minolta slide duplication accessory and Minolta Macro Bellow lens 1:3.5 f=50mm. The light source was a LED panel CineStill Cine-lite.

The RAW files obtained were inverted within the latest version of Adobe Lightroom Classic version 14 and edited to the final jpeg pictures without intermediate file. They are presented either as printed files with frame or the full size JPEG's together with some documentary smartphone color pictures.

The results show that the Nikon F4 spot metering is perfectly calibrated and consistent with my traditional way to determine the exposition. The DX coding. is operating correctly but no confirming indication of the ISO value is displayed on the camera (excepted the blinking red LED if the DX code is not correctly detected). As for all SLR's of this generation, a small window on the left-side of the camera back allows the reading of the film characteristics. All the light-tight foams are in perfect order for a camera of this age (35-year old).

Overall this second session with the Nikon F4 confirms that the camera is very pleasant to use despite its 1.7kg (fitted with its standard 1.4/50mm). The minimalistic Nikon neck strap remains comfortable and well proportionated to the camera. It's areal joy to use.

About the camera :

Maybe it would have been better not to ask for this question: « what’s new do you have at the moment?» to my local photo store, because Christine grab underneath the counter, stating « I have that … » . What a beast ! A Nikon F4 in the exact state of the Nikon brochure year 1990, presented with the standard AF Nikkor 1:1.4 f=50mm. I was already hooked by the machine. After two days, I decided to buy it even with some little common issues found on early Nikon F4 (see below), fortunately not affecting the whole, numberous functions of this incredibly complex professional SLR of the year 1990’s.

Nikon F4 came to the market on September 1988 starting with the serial number 2.000.000. Fully manufactured in Japan (modules came from 3 different Nikon factories) the F4's were assembled in Mito, Ibaraki (North to Tokyo) Nikon plant (no more in the mother factory of Tokyo Oi like the Nikon’s F). When I lived in Tokyo in 1990-1991, Nikon F4 was the top-of-the-line of Nikon SLR camera’s. I saw it in particular in Shinjuku Bic Camera store when I bought there, in December 1990 my Nikonos V.

Nikon F4 incorporates many astonishing engineering features as the double vertical-travel curtain shutter capable of the 1/8000s. Compared to the Nikon F3, the F4 was an AF SLR operated by a CCD sensor (200 photo sites). The film is automatically loaded, advanced with to top speed of 5,7 frame/s !! With the MB-21 power grip (F4s version). The F4 is a very heavy camera (1.7kg with the AF Nikkor 1.4/50mm), incredibly tough and well constructed. This exemplary is devoid of any scratches or marks, and in a condition proving that it was not used for hard professional appliances, for those it was however intended. The camera has still it original Nikon neck strap, the original user manual in French. The lens is protected by a Cokin (Franc) Skylight 1A 52mm filter and the original Nikon front cap. The two small LCD displays (one on the F4 body, one in the DP-20 finder) are both affected by the classical syndrome of « bleeding ». Fortunately, all information could still be read. One says that 70% of the early Nikon F4 suffer from this problem but also found on other models.

According its serial number and the production rate of about 5000 units/month, this Nikon F4s was probably manufactured in Mito, Ibaraki, Japan in May 1989.

AirDrain Drainage SynLawn Chesapeake Bay Courtyard Install

Installing the AirField System results in a more stable surface area and a more consistent GMAX across the project. AirDrain’s delivers a 14.7% reduction on cement and a 19% reduction on an aggregate base in GMAX. And that reduction and consistency will stay for the life of the field with AirDrain.

The result is a more stable surface area all but eliminating infill migration and inconsistent GMAX across the entire field, (which can drastically affect the safety of the players on project putting owners in an at risk liability scenario).

Unlike traditional shock pads / e-layer the AirDrain is 1″ high and has a 92% air void. This unmatched vertical and horizontal drainage all but eliminates standing water, even at a 1/2% slope.

No other product stacks and ships more compactly, reducing the number of trucks and the amount of fuel required to transport to a job site to 1 truck on a 95k sqft. project. Don’t forget shipping costs that goes to the bottom line ! AirDrain cant be beat!

There is a big difference between real world drainage on an installed project and some manufacturers claims of drainage per hour, where they run water through their product being held vertically in the air and claim drainage per hour. Remember you have to drain it vertically and them horizontally to the perimeter drains, that's drainage !

AirDrain drainage can’t be beat by anyone’s product period.

AirDrain’s strength and durability allow it to be used under multiple turf replacements on the project.

In a cost value and performance comparison there is only one choice, AirDrain!

Review by Jason Birchmeier

A half-century into their recording career, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico are still one of the leading salsa acts in Latin music, which is all the more remarkable when you consider that founder and bandleader Rafael Ithier was well into his eighties when he and his orchestra released Sin Salsa No Hay Paraíso. The third full-length studio album released since Gran Combo de Puerto Rico left Combo Records at the turn of the century, after a quarter-century of releasing a new studio album more or less every year on the label, Sin Salsa No Hay Paraíso is no less exciting than its predecessors, Aquí Estamos y...¡de Verdad! (2004) and Arroz con Habichuela (2006), the latter of which won the group a Latin Grammy award for Best Tropical Album. The title track of Sin Salsa No Hay Paraíso storms out of the gate as the album opener. One of El Gran Combo's best singles in recent years, "Sin Salsa No Hay Paraíso" is straight fire and sets the album aflame from the get-go. While none of the subsequent tracks on the ten-track album measure up to the stand-out title track, there are plenty of highlights, among them a new version of "Achilipú," which was originally released on the classic album De Punta a Punta (1971), and "Colombia Tierra Querida." Fans of El Gran Combo know what to expect on Sin Salsa No Hay Paraíso, as this group is nothing if not consistent, and the album doesn't disappoint, the title track in particular.
