Rt#1 crosses the Susquehanna River on the Conowingo Dam. There's an area mid river where Bald Eagles next.

Conowingo HydroElectric Plant, Maryland. I normally don't enhance this much, but the dramatic colorization just seemed to work well given the cloud formation seemingly emanating from the electric generating plant.

Bald Eagle with a catch below the Conowingo Hydroelectric Dam in Maryland, which was completed in 1928. The U.S. Route 1 Highway crosses over the top of the dam. U.S. Rt. 1 is the longest north-south highway in the United States and runs from Key West, Florida to Fort Kent, Maine on the Canadian border.

Spent a few hours at the Conowingo Dam in northern Maryland today watching the eagles. Still learning my 7D2.

Trip to Conowingo Dam to try and photograph the eagles - not terribly successful, as I do not have a lens for it and first time trying.

Conowingo Dam is famous for its eagles, so I was excited to visit, even if it was overcast and I only had a couple hours before I had to leave to catch my flight.

I did a decent amount of post-processing to pull the shadows up on the bird and bring out the blue in the sky.
