Connections is a series of collaborative installations in response to our connection to Mother Earth, our homes, spaces within ourselves, liminal spaces using only recycled and found materials. This project has been created using mainly materials from Artist Material Fund under the guidance of Kelly Greene (Indigenous Artist in Residence at the Visual Arts department). A vital concept of this project is to reflect on the fact that we are all part of this Earth and are extremely dependent on her since everything that surrounds us is provided by her. With the current overpopulation by humans on our planet, we've consumed and produced excesses. Thus, these installations aim to convey attentive perspectives by reusing some over-produced materials that would otherwise fill landfills.

This was somewhat of an accidental shot. I was in a car and wanted a photo of the necklace I'd just bought from a street vendor. (I have a thing for spirals.) The shadow was not planned but makes this one a favourite shot of mine.

Palringo enables vocal instant messaging, picture messaging and text-based messaging over the iPhone’s data connection.
Palringo works by integrating with several existing, popular messaging services: AOL’s AIM, Google Talk, Yahoo! Messenger, Gadu Gadu, ICQ, Jabber and Windows Live Messenger. This also means people can use Palringo to contact their friends using iChat, Apple’s instant messaging (IM) client.
Palringo presents an iPhone user’s IM contacts in a single, combined, presence-aware list, whichever IM service their contacts are using. This eliminates any need to switch between different IM applications in order to send a message to different contacts. Sending a voice, picture or text-based message are single-click operations.

The ocean is relaxing. It is cold. I like to swim and scuba dive. I like to see fish and sea turtles.

An interesting walkway connecting two buildings that I stumbled upon during my late night photo sessions.

Thanks to a lovely German couple, Indri and I got a nice shot of us in front of the Niagara rainbow.
State Route 30 (SR-30) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. It is the only highway signed as a Utah state route (with the beehive shaped route marker) to traverse the entire width of the state. Legislatively the highway exists as 3 separate segments. With implied connections via Interstate 84 and U.S. Route 89, the highway is drivable as a continuous route from Nevada to Wyoming. The western segment is a historic corridor paralleling the pre-Lucin Cutoff routing of the First Transcontinental Railroad. A portion of the eastern segment has been designated the Bear Lake Scenic Byway as part of the Utah Scenic Byways program. The route was created in 1966 by combining several state highways into a single designation.
SR-30 starts at the Nevada state line connecting with SR 233 and loosely follows the original route of the First Transcontinental Railroad around the north shore of the Great Salt Lake. The only communities along this section are Rosette and Park Valley. The highway connects with I-84 near Snowville. I-84 and I-15 connect the western segment with the central segment.
The central section begins near Tremonton just north of the separation of I-84 from I-15. It travels due east through a gap in the Wellsville Mountains created by the Bear River. The highway crests a hill and has a view of Cache Valley which gives the highway its nickname, the Valley View Highway. The central section joins US-89 in downtown Logan. The segment between 3200 West in Cache County and the US-89/US-91 junction in Logan is part of the National Highway System.[4] US-89 connects the central segment with the eastern segment.
The eastern section branches off from US-89 at Garden City and follows the south shore of Bear Lake to Laketown. The highway then cuts across to the Wyoming state line where it continues as WYO 89.
The western portion follows the general corridor used by the California Trail, as well as the First Transcontinental Railroad, completed in 1869. This portion of the railroad was bypassed with the construction of the Lucin Cutoff across the Great Salt Lake. Later the road would be part of the Midland Trail, and it was added to the state highway system in 1912.

Our life is composed greatly from dreams, from the unconscious, and they must be brought into connection with action. They must be woven together. ~ Anais Nin
