Location is a popular piece of artwork featured on both the Clockwork Gallery and Gallerisation web sites.
Location shows the projection of an imaginary underground system that displays each station’s name as the instantly recognisable WWW acronym of the World Wide Web rather than the more usual geographical place names. This piece was designed to represent how the development of the Internet has influenced the dynamic (ethereal) size of the world, and therefore how unimportant actual relative geographical location is becoming.
Location is part of the Underground series of imagery designed by Chris Gray. This series examines aspects of human interaction and communication based on the way that mankind has developed connections. This ability is one of the corner stones of our success as a species. Underground explores various aspects of our world and how we associate with it.
Our 4th annual Missed Connections program was a love in transit party for all would-be romantics! Guests got to spin Craigslist postings about those “lost subway love matches” into poetry and music. Art, local Brooklyn tastings, valentine-making, a photo booth, and more!

An interesting walkway connecting two buildings that I stumbled upon during my late night photo sessions.

After 6 days in Grand Teton NP, we are finally back to an internet connection that actually stays connected.
I made some comments on previous photos that got lost to the internet gods.
We had one fairly reliable series of moose sightings of a mom and baby. This is my favorite shot of the baby. Born in Mar/April 2008 this is now a pretty big baby (but not as big as mom!) I cannot begin to tell you how many moose shots I did NOT get, but wow!
I may post a photo of the professional lenses that collected when moose were sighted. I have never seen so many fantastic lenses congregated in one place.
We were so lucky to catch the aspen colors, which deepened during our stay and came later than is typical. But the photographers with the big lenses have some kind of underground, because they had definitely gathered. We met some nice people.
FortPhoto was absolutely right about Oxbow Bend, and GeyserGary had the scoop on the Moose-Wilson Road.
Grand Teton National Park gave us the most splendid mountain vistas that we could imagine.
We are on the tail end of our journey, and spend the next three days wending our way back to Denver for our return to the Big Island.
Glorious weather the past two days. It got up to 70-72f, and we wore t-shirts on our daily hikes.

Our life is composed greatly from dreams, from the unconscious, and they must be brought into connection with action. They must be woven together. ~ Anais Nin
