It is you I love you ROCK, it is you I see when I close my eyes, it is your heart I feel beating through my chest, it is your voice that sings to my soul. I will love you with all I am. It is always your soul that will shine through to me, ,we are ONE .. Love is not big enough of a word to describe this truth, there are no words, ღ Sólo tu ღ
Cartes de visite by J.L. Eck of Kutztown, Pa., and Patton & Lee of Reading, Pa. Four portraits reveal details of two women and a child whose lives intersected in Pennsylvania. Their names are written in modern pencil on the backs of the mounts. On the left is Matilda Hortenster, a name yet to be found on genealogical records. To her right is Angelina Gross Hawrecht (1843-1900), described as a servant to Ms. Hortenster. Angelina’s daughter, Katie Francisco Gordon, is shown in the next two images. Born on Sept. 18, 1866, she died on June 7, 1870, just a few months before her fourth birthday.
Note the different surnames between Angelina and Katie. One theory to explain the difference is that Angelina, whose maiden name is Gross, married a man named Gordon. Or, she had the child out of wedlock and she was adopted by a family named Gordon. Angelina married Emil Hawrecht in 1882.

meaningful connection fills my heart. small talk saps my energy. intimate gatherings feed me. large parties drain me. this pattern holds online, as well. when i intentionally comment and build relationships, i'm filled. when i mindlessly (or doggedly) comment, i'm drained. dear flickr friends, i care about your lives--your joys, struggles, dreams, disappointments, and insights. i care about you equally on the good days and the bad days. i care about you whether you're online or unplugged. our meaningful connection (in any form) makes me happy.

Macro reversing rings are super cheap from eBay. Go buy them!

My friend Amy and her girls. Could they be any more precious? This was taken with my strobe reflected off the white wall... my diffuser was broken. :(

What a great way to break in my visit to Hawaii. I'm sitting around at the airport in Maui waiting for my connection to Kona, and this pops into view. Not bad at all.
Dryclough Junction, Halifax, and one of Grand Central's five-car Class 180 'Adelante' DMUs approaches Crossley Hill Bridge, Salterhebble. The set, forming the 14.33 Bradford Interchange-London King's Cross service, is starting the 1 in 53/1 in 44 descent to North Dean and the Calder Valley Main Line. The leading power car is 59912. St Mark's, Siddal, is the church tower to the right. As the DMU approached, a mum ran to the bridge, urging her toddling child to follow, shouting: "Quick, it's the London train!" Given the monotony of motive power through Halifax these days, along with the trains' customary Pennine destinations, I guess an 'Adelante' heading for the capital counts as exciting. @14.48

Welcome to the life of an accountant. The weather is crappy and I'm stuck inside so this is what you get for Connections. This is one of my two Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Mini Hubs which I use to connect lots of different apparatuses to my computer. I'm laughing because my computer looks like an octopus. But hey......at least I'm connected !

50018 Resolution begins to accelerate away from the Axminster stop on 1st July 1991 with the 16:22 Exeter to Waterloo service, which the Southern National Bristol LH, 3310 (AFJ 730T) in the foreground, working Service 31 to Bridport had been awaiting. Passengers who made the connection would have quite a characterful journey with first the Class 50 and then the Bristol LH, both being quite an audio experience, this bus type also having quite a unique ride. As an additional connection there is also a red phone box, mobiles hadn't quite made it at this date iirc.
