The fascinating thing about macro photography is how it reveals new and complex worlds that you never knew about.

Overlapping lines show the interconnections between people and place. Who knows who... demonstrating the "6 degrees of separation" theory.
human connection - hard to come about or come across. We all need someone not just to say “yes” as if they don’t speak our language but try to fit it in. Or nod. As if they understand us. We all yearn for connection when someone understands the “crazy” side of us because he / she is just as drunk or high on something in life as we are. And that’s what makes our inner world full or empty.
The brown ropes above are made out of ananas fibres in Malaysia. The other ones (red, green and white) are synthetic. A seaman told me the "ananas ropes" are not very common these days because they are only used on old sailing vessels like the "Elcano". Compared to all other ropes they are rather soft and non-slippy even when they get wet. A good thing when you have to clap on all the sails on a four-master.
Two different ones.

This day labourer is seen taking a break from the harsh city life, doing stuffs on his phone in a bus stand.
In the last decade, with the booming of mobile technology, almost everyone now-a-days possess a phone.
Connection is important, you know!

“The water glides in the shade, glitters in the sun, flows, whispers; love comes back.”
~ G. Seferis, A Poet's Journal: Days of 1945-1951
Last night I was reading Seferis’ book. And I stopped here…
He wrote these words in Bursa, in April of 1949
-what did he see in Bursa?or he saw something in himself to say these words-
Since during journeys we meet ourselves most ~
An unexpected acquisition, found at the local market for a bargain price, is this Britbus Scania Metropolitan. KJD 225P is one of the less common closed-top buses from the Guide Friday fleet, and was used on the Shakespeare Connection service for a couple of years from 1986. It is nominally part of the Arden-Lancer fleet in Stratford-upon-Avon but preserved in its former livery in memory of this now-defunct operator who pioneered sightseeing tours in the town.

A day in the Smoke today (25/10/2025) and a wander from Waterloo to Victoria via the O2, Stratford, Liverpool St, Marble Arch, Park Lane and Hyde Park Corner. Stotts had their brand spanking new National Express branded Temsa HD13 ST75TTS on the 561 to Bradford, Galloways added a bit of extra colour to Victoria, a German Neoplan Cityliner and a pair of Czech Setras were spotted at the O2 coach park, and a 2008 Van Hool Astron T917 with RG Live logos parked up just where we were standing! Good day.

...cosa c'è, in fondo, più semplice e vero di un bacio tra due innamorati? La connessione perfetta tra due anime in sintonia. =)
The French Connection was the nickname of a forward line that played for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League from 1972 until 1979. The line consisted of Hall of Famer Gilbert Perreault at centre and All-StarsRick Martin and Rene Robert at left wing and right wing, respectively. All three players were French-Canadians from Quebec: Perreault from Victoriaville; Robert from Trois-Rivières; and Martin from Verdun, Quebec. The name referred both to the origins of the players and to the 1971 movie The French Connection, based upon the book of the same name.
