I was thinking about this for quite a long time. First idea was to use some badges that will connect each other (www.flickr.com/photos/maciej_drwiega/23690038304/in/datep...). I did couple of attempts and it was working quite well, however the fit was not perfect as well as it was time consuming to modify bricks.
Couple of months ago I came up with an idea of non-invasive solution.
Finally 2 or 3 weeks ago I found time to work this out and ordered some POGO connectors from AliExpress (links below). Arrived today so here it is. The Poof Of Concept.
I'm still not sure if the spot the spring connector touches the flat base is large enough to distribute power, but some soldering and measurements is a next step.
Finally I can work on the modules! :)
And yes, if it is not obvious - I want to have single power source for all the lights on the layout.

" I am always intrigued by the relationship created by the modern design of bridges with its surroundings and the people who use those urban spaces connected by the bridge itself"
Connecting Lights
I wake up and I feel the cold of the wood under my feet.
I open the window , always , also during the winter only to know that there is another day ready to taste and to control if the sky has not fallen in pieces in the night.
Then I love to rub my eyes until I see many little shining dots and suddenly , open them ... you can see all in a different light.
I say hello to Mr. Cheese slapping him on his shoulder but only because we understand each other by one glance .
I never smile when I'm only just awake , only after the breeze is running between my eyelashes .
*I smile , slowly , slowly , slowly *
Good morning , everybody .

When the first batch of Enviros arrived at Cumnock in 2008, all were branded as "CC" Connect Cumnock, which covered the selection of routes from Cumnock depot, rather than the branding of individual ones. The branding was also applied to a few selected Olympians and a Trident, however after the first repaint of the vehicles, the branding was lost and the few deckers were also to follow. The photo shows 22591 at Cumnock in 2011, still retaining branding. The branding is yet another item confined to history, as well as Cumnock depot now.

Central Connect seemed to have some varied E200 MMC allocations going on in March, with a few different examples appearing on the 517 for an unusual amount of variety. I say variety, it is just MMCs at the end of the day but they do at least have varying ages/lengths and the application of the livery and graphics also differs between vehicles too.
On 17.3.25 and extra small 517 was to be found, being provided by mini 8.9 metre 371 and pictured on Chilwell High Road opposite the Charlton Arms.

Vehicle provision on the Central Connect 90 varies, with E200 MMCs of different sizes and colours plus the EVM Citylines on Sundays and some workings and variations. This was my first time seeing one of the slightly larger and fully liveried MMCs operating a 90, and although I’ve got a fair bit of disdain for the type I have to say it looks different enough for me to say I like it.
Not all of them carry the full livery with all the branding and extra diagonal stripes; I’ve also seen the simplified version with basic Vectare names on a school route, but looking at this with no context you could easily think this was one of the ‘big group’ operators with the presentation... “transport made simple” and all that. It looks like how you might imagine Arriva if they were classy and had investment.
The whole deal with Central Connect and their rapid expansion buying other companies is intriguing if a little bizarre, with Vectare (as it was) going from running a few minibuses and rail replacements to suddenly owning several operations across different parts of the country, gaining a vast fleet of MMCs out of thin air and continuing to receive brand new deliveries from ADL. Even if they’re leasing their vehicles, there must be some financial wizardry going on at that place.
Part of me wonders if it’ll all fall apart in a few years if their rapid acquisitions don’t pay off, or if they’ll instead go on to replicate Stagecoach of the nineties by proving agile in an uncertain market, punching above their weight and eventually becoming a major player in the bus industry. Maybe they genuinely will replace Arriva as the 3rd big group in years to come, or maybe they’ll just continue as they are, keeping marginal routes going and picking up random contracts.

Sometimes, great timing happens and everything connects for one short moment in life and makes you feel present in the universe.
As I was turning from a corner, I saw these delightful autumnal colours around the red brick wall and there walked a lovely young person dressed in perfect matching colours with Nature.
At that very moment, she had the same thoughts--as I learned a minute later--and that's when I stopped her for a portrait.
It was easy to talk to Riina, 23y/o, almost 24, in a fortnight. She acted naturally in front of my camera and my camera loved her. She become one with this delightful autumnal tableau.
Riina is a student of philosophy; her reflections upon my questions emphasised her philosophical education. I would have loved to discuss longer with her, but there wasn't enough time. She was on her way to support the Extinction Rebellion, the global environmental movement's manifestation in town. She did, however, promise to answer my questions by returning email.
I sent her the photos and was so glad to receive her answers within a few hours.
The floor is yours, Riina.
"When one is asked about "The Meaning of Life" I like to paraphrase whomever it was--I don't remember where I heard this and whether I'm remembering it right--who said that life does not have a meaning per se, but things within life have meanings, which I think, gets formed through specific subject's experiences and that same subjects relations to things they bump into within these experiences.
I'm talking about the meanings of life since those things that have a meaning or meanings to this specific subject, are the things that inspire me and are connected, I think, to all the your questions. So, at this moment in time I'm rather into--which means deeply in love with--books, philosophy, dancing, nature, especially forests, humour, especially satire, animals, especially dolphins, art, history, solitude, walking, writing and, I guess, thinking. These are the things I do in life, that I like to do in my spare time and that inspire me.
"What I love about myself is that I'm insanely curious--it brings a lot of meaning to my existence and keeps me, most of the time, rather satisfied, by which I mean excited and joyful. Interestingly, it seems that the more curious you are, the more curious you get; and the more curious you get, the more you get the learn. And I've had some amazing luck with ending up being this almost strangely inquisitive person. I really dig it!
"The Younger-Me question was to me definitely the easiest to answer; I would advice her to not be so deeply afraid of feelings, to not think of them as something one should wish to get rid of or worse, hide them and imagine them non-existent. It would have made things a lot easier, I suppose, if I'd understood feelings as mentionable, understandable, acceptable and manageable and not as some kind of demonic and horrible signs-of-weaknesses.
"And I thought a lot about what I would say to the world, but I suppose I can't imagine myself being a worthy advice-giver, since I'm myself actively trying to find a way to flourish. However, there's this one thought-provoker I like, which often helps me to answer a question of what it is that I "ought" to do in any specific situation; that is, "Imagine a person who would be in your opinion morally 'perfectly good'. How would they act in this situation?" I like this since it leaves us to imagine our own kind of goodness and own kind of perfection--which in my case means a person who definitely is not "perfect" in all kinds of situations, not even in most situations--and I don't have to end up implying that I'd know better about living a flourishing life than I do. It's kind of a version of "What would [...] do?" but a more imaginative one."
Thank you, Riina, I was happy to run into you so totally randomly, a second later and we would have missed each other. You were a breath of fresh air.
"It was really great to meet you, Ann, this was a lot of fun! I've never experienced anything like this and I appreciate you and all this!"

I can't well enough describe the dedication to duty that all 90 of the firefighters fighting this blaze showed.
Let's connect with my attic friends, give each other hands and make a line. On the picture you only see 3 girls, but the line of purple girls extends infinitely to the left and right. The purple satin army is ready for combat. No worries though; we are friendly and our weapons of choice are smiles, femininity and sensuality.

This is one of the Central Connect buses which I’d already seen when I visited Newark earlier in the year, but here Enviro 200 MMC CC21 GAL is pictured in Nottingham departing with a 90 to Newark and Fernwood on 17.10.24
Although they took on the route and have managed to keep it going, Vectare/Central Connect really don’t have the presentation that Marshalls did. Of the two ‘GAL’ MMCs this is the better looking one, but in this view it’s filthy. Plus the Marshalls livery is generally nicer.
