A trip to London at the weekend for some photography inspiration. Really enjoyed wandering Elephant & Castle, which provided perfect backdrops for street photography - only difficulty was the 4 lanes of traffic between me and the subject but managed to get lucky quite a few times.

Saturday 13th August 2016 was the last day for First Bus operations out of Musselburgh and North Berwick depots before a new subsidy of Lothian Buses known as East Coast Buses commences on Sunday 14th August 2016.
East Coast Buses are introducing services 107 between Edinburgh and Dunbar via Haddington, services 124/X24 between Edinburgh and North Berwick via Aberlady - Gullane and also school services 125/126 and 127.
Today East Coast Buses held a roadshow for local residents to come and get details of their brand new bus service. Roadshows were held in Dunbar (9am - 11.30am), Haddington (12pm - 3pm) and North Berwick (10am - 4pm).
Haddington saw vehicle 10105 come along for the ride and looks very smart in its new East Coast Buses livery. 13th August 2016.

Not quite. Finally got back under the night sky after what seems a lifetime away. An unusually warm New England December night (57 degrees). The sound of the waves and stiff breeze was a nice change of pace, I enjoyed the waves licking at my feet - literally. I was on the cell chatting with a friend to see if he'd come out to shoot, didn't notice the waves washing over my hiking boots... that's why I wear hiking boots since shoot #2 (learned my lesson from shoot #1).

how often dose this happen? me and rockcakes have been busy working on a little project witch we will announce soon. its not what you might think it is, it’s a work related. today is the 1st saturday in ages we have not been working so its nice to laze about, i am still in my dressing gown (its now 13:07). we decided to have a little game of connect 4 yearlyer and we drew, i was yellow so admittedly she had me on the run but i managed to hold her off till there was no where to go.

concourse tunnel in detroit; late flight caused me to miss my connection so I though I would kill some time snapping photos. Minimal editing other than some noise removal. This is one of those trippy tunnels with lights and ambient music.

A few weeks ago, 153 made a rare appearance on the cross-town 'Connect 17' service.
Not too long ago, 153 was repainted into a special livery, promoting Warrington and Vale Royal College.
Having 'connected', the Indigo Connect bus pulls out from its terminus on Nottingham Road, Chilwell on the late afternoon of Tuesday, 23rd June 2009.
Indigo Connect (Formerly, Connect 5), works in conjunction with the main road Indigo bus service that operates between Nottingham and Long Eaton. Using this dedicated Optare Solo bus (No449), the ‘Indigo Connect’ serves the district of Toton, the Tesco Extra supermarket, opposite Chetwynd Barracks.
