Modular by design, our turbo-back systems are available in street or race configurations. Street series systems include a Magnaflow 200 cell catalytic converter. Race series systems include a test pipe. On race day the cat can be easily swapped for a test pipe. Six unique tip fitments allow our turbo-backs to fit any mk4 1.8T. Our 1.8T turbo-backs are technically a combination of our 3" downpipes and our 2.5" & 3" cat-backs. Repeating the features of our downpipes and cat-backs would only make a long story longer. One feature our downpipes and cat-backs can't boast on their own is power gain. In our extensive testing we were able to dyno test a 'typical' mk4 and measure the changes. We used a relatively stock 2002 GTI 337 edition. The car was chipped, had a cold air intake and an aftermarket diverter valve. No other engine modifications were made to the car. Equipped with stock exhaust, we drove the car thoroughly and dyno tested it. The stock exhaust was swapped out for our 3" turbo-back system and the car was driven to adapt then dyno tested again. With weather conditions literally exact we measured peak gains of 22.5 hp and 48 lb/ft to the wheels! Power gains were felt all over. Boost was built faster and held out longer with the stock turbocharger. No power losses were felt at any point in the powerband. Turbo-back pricing starts at $770 and varies by series, pipe size and tip fitment. All configurations can be purchased.

This receptacle is stamped with the Bryant name but looks identical to the Hubbell version of this receptacle (probably manufactured by Hubbell for Bryant). This receptacle can accept a number of different configurations the most obvious of which being the grounded twist lock, parallel, and tandem blade plugs. The T-slot configuration will also accept the perpendicular blade plug (sometimes referred to as the "polarized" plug, even though most of these plugs could fit either direction in the T-Slot receptacle). This receptacle is rated at 15 Amps, 125 Volts or 10 Amp, 250 Volts.

I went on a one day workshop at Blade Rubber just before Xmas - run by Susie Jefferson and she taught us how to make this Tim Holtz's Configurations box. Since it was nearing Xmas naturally it was themed accordingly.

We were supplied with practically all the materials need to create this box but as the workshop lasted only 4hrs we had to complete them at home.

I really enjoyed making this and choosing all the different elements to include and the lights just make it all the more magical I think.

Gave this as an Xmas pressie to my daughters mother-in-law who absolutely loved it and will treasure it always.

Land Cruiser Engine Configurations en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_F_engine

There are two basic engines for the FJ series: the type F engine and the type 2F engine. There are numerous diesel configurations starting from 3.0L–4.0L. Diesel engines are available and usually come from regions where the predominant fuel is diesel.

Type F

Used from 1955-1974, the Type F engine made the FJ famous: not the most efficient but virtually impossible to break! It was (and is) commonly known to run 500,000–600,000 miles without a problem. It was constructed as a 3.9 liter naturally aspirated, in-line six cylinder engine. The F series of engines were deliberately engineered to be similar to GMC L6 OHV 235 engines but improved upon its inspiration to suit the FJ’s needs.

Type 2F

Running from 1975–1988, The 2F improved on the F, increasing engine size to 4.2L. This engine is a little bit more efficient and powerful than the F engine, but it still has the same feel that FJ drivers love.

The final-configuration Boeing 2707 mockup was sold to a museum and displayed at the SST Aviation Exhibit Center in Kissimmee, Florida, from 1973 to 1981. In 1983, the building, complete with SST, was purchased by the Faith World church. For years the Osceola New Life Assembly of God held services there with the airplane still standing above. In 1990, the mock-up was sold to aircraft restorer Charles Bell, who moved it, in pieces, to Merritt Island, in order to preserve it while it waited for a new home as the church now wanted the space for expansion. The forward fuselage was on display at the Hiller Aviation Museum of San Carlos, California, for many years, but in early 2013, was moved back to Seattle, where it is undergoing restoration at the Museum of Flight.

The Boeing 2707 was an American supersonic passenger airliner project during the 1960s. After winning a competition for a government-funded contract to build an American supersonic airliner, Boeing began development at its facilities in Seattle, Washington. The design emerged as a large aircraft with seating for 250 to 300 passengers and cruise speeds of approximately Mach 3. It was intended to be much larger and faster than preceding SST designs such as Concorde.

The SST was the topic of considerable concern within and outside the aviation industry. From the start, the airline industry noted that the economics of the design were questionable, concerns that were only partially addressed during development. Outside the field, the entire SST concept was the subject of considerable negative press, centered on the issue of sonic booms and effects on the ozone layer.

A key design feature of the 2707 was its use of a swing wing configuration. During development the required weight and size of this mechanism continued to grow, forcing the team to start over using a conventional delta wing. Rising costs and the lack of a clear market led to its cancellation in 1971 before two prototypes had been completed.

Another configuration different to the Thingammy based on a module of regular pentagons but a non-planar hexagon hole. (Near miss Johnson Solid 16) arranged so that hexagon holes meet each other in a matching configuration - IF they do so??? needs checking.

Voyage-Air string configuration

Pictures of my velcro additions to my Voyage-Air VAOM-06

Latest configuration set up as my every day commuter with lights, guards and moustache bars. I've also removed the Suntour components and replace with Shimano. The derailleur is better but thinking I should have stayed with the suntour shifters. That point is probably mute though because sooner or later she is going to become a 2-speed kick back. Currently running as 7-speed with single chainring and wide range cassete.

Tyres will need replacing soon. Currently white Vittoria 23c which have been super reliable and hard wearing, but thinking I'd like something a little more comfortable. Pretty sure I can go up to about 28mm on these rims. Will need to make a decision soon.

Mk28/B28RE

Hydrogen Bomb

The Mk28 hydrogen bomb, although first produced in 1958, remained an active item until 1991. It was designed to be carried by various fighter and bomber aircraft (F-100, F-104, F-105, B-47, B-52, and B-66). This weapon is capable of a ground or air burst and may be carried internally or externally, with a free-fall or parachute retarded drop, depending upon its configuration.

The W28 small diameter, light weight thermonuclear warhead in Mk28 became the most versatile and widely used design ever adopted by the United States. This tactical and strategic thermonuclear bomb had the longest US service duration (33 years) and 2nd largest production run of any U.S. weapon design with over 4500 produced. The last weapons were retired from the U.S. arsenal in 1991.

The Mk-28 employed the "Building Block" principle, permitting various combinations of components to be combined:

B28EX -Carried externally by F-100, F-105, and F-4; no parachute.

B28RE - Carried externally; equipped with one 4-ft. pilot chute and one 28 ft. ribbon chute.

B28IN - Carried internally by B-52 and F-105; no parachute.

B28RI - Carried internally; equipped with one 4-ft. pilot parachute, one 16.5-ft. ribbon extraction chute, one 64-ft. solid chute, and one 30-in. stabilization chute.

B28FI - Carried internally; equipped with one 4-ft. pilot chute, one 16-ft. and one 24-ft. chute.

This Mk28RE was used at Lowry to teach students how to load and unload the weapon on different types of aircraft. It is displayed underneath the F-100 Super Sabre, one of the primary aircraft used as a delivery system.

The most significant architectural historic element of Montalbano, Elicona is the castle which dominates a haphazard and tortuous medieval urban fabric, meandering up and down the alleyways, molding itself to the configuration of the rocky promontory. The little houses constructed in sandstone are filled with authentic history, although in certain places a sense of abandonment is felt which should disappear with the planned restoration works.Erected on pre-existing Byzantine and Arab structures, the upper part of the castle is comprised of a Norman-Suevian fortress, while the lower part is made up of a fortified Suevian-Aragonese palatium (palace). The upper part, a rectangular fortress, is enclosed on its two extremities by two towers, one with a square plan and the other, typically Suevian, with a pentagonal plan, which functions as a donjon. The embattled perimeter walls date back to the Suevian period, and represent the most important and best preserved a saettiere defensive configuration in Sicily. The date 1270 still engraved in the cover of the large cistern is evidence of its Angevin phase.Instead it is to Frederick II of Aragon that we owe that reconstruction of the edifice and its transformation from fortress to regiae aedes, royal residence for summer sojourn (1302-08). The sovereign had eighteen large windows open on to the perimeter walls above the Suevian embrasures as well as a considerable number of portals and gates. Thanks to the modifications executed by the Aragonese king, the castle of Montalbano is one of the most coherent and harmonious of the Sicilian Middle Ages. The most extraordinary element in the entire castle is the royal chapel of the Byzantine era, which according to some scholars preserves the remains of Arnaldo da Villanova, one of the most important personages of his time. Physician, alchemist and religious reformer suspected of heresy, he died in 1310, and his numerous stays in Montalbano with king Frederick are well documented.

I took a workshop with Suzie Jefferson at Blade Rubber in London in the summer and to tie in with the Queens Diamond Jubilee and everything that was happening in London around then, we were given instruction on how to make this wonderful heirloom/keepsake to commemorate the occasion.

We used the Tim Holtz Configurations Tray and covered all the sections and were given a wide variety of materials to use. I bought extra bits and bobs to fill the spaces from Pound shops and souvenier shops.

I've displayed it on a stand but will be attaching wall fixings so that i can proudly display it on my wall.

The Aceca coupe was produced from 1954/63, a fastback version of AC’s Ace roadster. Built as an exclusive Grand Touring car, the Aceca featured a curved windshield and a hinged rear hatch.

Like the Ace, the Aceca had the same sporting independent suspension and lightweight aluminum body that made the car so popular. 151 were built with the 90hp 1991cc 4 cyl AC engine.

From 1956, a further 169 were built with the more powerful 125hp Bristol 2000cc engine.

And in 1961, 37 were built with the 170hp 2600cc Ruddspeed Ford Zephyr engine.

Carroll Shelby in America was approached to install Ford V8s in the AC, now called the AC Cobra, available in small block and later big block configurations

In this final configuration, I just epoxied a battery clip to the battery. This was much simpler than trying to make my crap soldering iron heat both the battery terminal and wire, and looks cleaner.

The picture is from the mirror, hence why it looks like the battery and switch are on the wrong side!
