An intense game of chess between Prakarsh Singh, best friend of mine from India (and a resident like me at Netherhall House, a student hall of accommodation in London) and Andrew Soane (a chess Master) left everyone captivated. In the photo, Prakarsh is the person with a turban; the others are all summer students staying at the hall for a month learning English. Everyone is deep in concentration...

10x9 digital photo. Ok so I've somewhat changed my concentration but not to the point where the previous photos don't apply. So here goes.
For my concentration I want to show the struggle for identity that many of us face.
In all my pieces so far I have not actually captured the face of the model. Also I have created different tones of lighting order to portray certain stages or feelings of identification.
I know my writing still sucks but we're starting to get somewhere I hope.

Simple sign of affection while watching tv :') my brother, Landon, and cousin, Jaylin. I feel like it correlates well with my first concentration because of the comparison of old hands to young hands holding.
This picture was on a medieval fair in Ebernburg, germany.
He's a friend of mine and asked me to take some pictures.
I like this one the best, because of the concentration in his eyes.

This concentration I wanted to make it a 2 part thing, this being the 2nd one. So this picture is also focused around urbanization and over-development. I used forced perspective to make it look like this pretty and natural hill turned into a street. I wanted the grass, dirt and trees to stand out from the urban neighborhood down below, so I increased saturation on the greens, oranges and yellows to make them stand out.
This piece was intended from the piece of my blind contour self abstraction piece. I tried to make this work free with messy lines and colors. I made the owl an exaggerated size. I think if i kept creating these types pieces it could be successful. But i am more e pleased on how my other concentration idea came out, and i think i can expand more on the other work.
