An intense game of chess between Prakarsh Singh, best friend of mine from India (and a resident like me at Netherhall House, a student hall of accommodation in London) and Andrew Soane (a chess Master) left everyone captivated. In the photo, Prakarsh is the person with a turban; the others are all summer students staying at the hall for a month learning English. Everyone is deep in concentration...

For my concentration I want to show the struggle for identity that many of us face.

In all my pieces so far I have not actually captured the face of the model. Also I have created different tones of lighting order to portray certain stages or feelings of identification.

I know my writing still sucks but we're starting to get somewhere I hope.

This piece was intended from the piece of my blind contour self abstraction piece. I tried to make this work free with messy lines and colors. I made the owl an exaggerated size. I think if i kept creating these types pieces it could be successful. But i am more e pleased on how my other concentration idea came out, and i think i can expand more on the other work.

The concept behind this image was part of my concentration so we had the water being thrown in a way that it will never be thrown over again to be the exact same. we did shoot this multiple times and put in some editing to get the final version. difficulty in this photo was capturing the water splashing around the girl.

The concept behind this image is my concentration again using the bubbles to frame the girls face in a way that they will never be exactly place again. Difficulties during this photo we’re getting the bubbles all together and framing the face without flying away or popping. Something interesting about this image is that the bubble show up really And have a rainbow light on them. For editing I did basic editing.
