Commodore 64 screenshots from Myth by System 3 Software. No emulation, this is a real C64, loaded from real tape, playing on a real TV on Channel 36 UHF. Old school!
This moment really tickled me in Borderlands - the Clap Trap robots are generally amusing little characters anyway, but this rather grumpy one has real attitude!
I hope he makes it into the sequel!
This mission grants me entry to the Trash Coast and the rather amazing challenge of the Rak Hive. This movie is from my third playthrough - where I decided just to do teh game using only revolvers! :)

Help I am addicted to playing Fallout: New Vegas. This is my character Buddy Presley (yep pretty corny) scoping out the scenery with his WA2000 sniper rifle. The Fallout series of games is set after a massive atomic war between the USA and China. All the weapons, clothing, hair and even sideburns are all mods that I have downloaded for the game..yep very addictive!

Dr. Zed - aside from Claptrap Dr. Zed is the introductory NPC in Borderlands. He is the chief medic in Firestone (the small hamlet that you first arrive in).
Like many of the NPCs in Boderlands he is a bit wooden in his interaction with you - and never departs from his allotted location. It would have been nice to see some of the NPCs take more part in the game, especially in the single player mode (as with the NPCs in 'Fallout 3').

The first exam went well! Hurrah! When I say well, I mean that I got pretty lucky. I had to answer 4 out of 14 questions and I only understood 4 questions. There it is, the minimum I needed to do was done. So, to celebrate, I went home and played playstation. I played it all night, knowing full-well that I should be revising for the next exam in 2 days time. I played and played and played and...oh crap-I played until 00:15 by which point I realised that the day was over and I was still yet to take my photo for the day.
There it is-my first failure at the hands of the project. I was distraught. I was so upset that it acted as proof of just how much this project means to me and motivated me never to mess up again. I think this failure, early on, will teach me not to waste such a wonderful project. Luckily, I only messed up by about 20 minutes which I hope is only deemed as a minor error. I hope to look back at this picture as my only mistake.

Mankind Divided reuses its predecessor's black and gold colour scheme. When I saw this building in Dundee, it reminded me of the game before I even noticed it was construced of shipping containers.
Perhaps Mankind Divided's greatest visual achievement is Golumn City, the slum created outside Prague. While other games have shown us cities contstructed from shipping containers (Mass Effect 2 comes to mind), Mankind Divided shows the horror of how this might be in reality, while drawing on contemporary references such as the now demolished Kowloon Walled City.

Me and my boyfriend are addicted to playing Mario Kart on the Wii.... seriously addicted! We wore out our old disc, so had to buy a new one a few weeks ago... That is how addicted we are!
(You can even see the dirt on the steering wheels as we play it so much.... Kinda gross, I know!)
My favourite AA vehicle (pictured on my favourite map - Dragon Valley). This is the formidable Chinese Type 95 AA vehicle. It's quad barrels can let loose a stream of death that really make any pilot think twice.
Having said that you still have to be very sneaky about your position, using whatever cover there is to baffle the Cobra gunships and their Hellfire missiles. If they catch you in the open you are dead meat.
The problem is that the Cobra gunners can see you long before you can usually see them, and with the enormous range of the Hellfire guided missile they can pick you off before you can get a good lock-on.
A good technique is the 'duck and cover' ploy. You hide your AA vehicle in a wooded area of behind buildings and *get out* so you pose less of an interesting target for the helos - then you wait for them to come closer or - preferably - pass you by, then you jump back in and let loose a gunnery salvo. Let them drop their decoy flares and get a second lock-on before you release a hail of AA missiles.
Successfully killing a Cobra is not only satisfying, but normally earns you two kills (pilot and gunner). But beware! Pilots take it as a personal insult that you dare to shoot them down, and normally come looking for you - so remember to change your location frequently.

My son calls all these birds "dodos" (in Romanian "dodoi", I'm not sure why. The only instance when he might have heard about dodo birds was when he saw "The Pirates! Band of misfits" ( www.imdb.com/title/tt1430626/synopsis ).
