Dr. Zed - aside from Claptrap Dr. Zed is the introductory NPC in Borderlands. He is the chief medic in Firestone (the small hamlet that you first arrive in).
Like many of the NPCs in Boderlands he is a bit wooden in his interaction with you - and never departs from his allotted location. It would have been nice to see some of the NPCs take more part in the game, especially in the single player mode (as with the NPCs in 'Fallout 3').

I used to play a game called Counter-Strike which is a first person shooter. The game levels usually had a urban setting with lots of office buildings and construction sites.
As I was walking home last night from work I saw this scene and my first thought was, wow this really could be a game level from Counter-Strike. So I took this picture which will serve as a nostalgic reminder of my former gaming days.

Bad piggy and piggy Darth Vader.
My son loved "Angry Birds Star Wars" so much that he started playing "Star Wars" before seeing the movie. So I bought the DVDs and we saw the original trilogy. I read the Romanian subtitles for him, as he can't read fast enough yet and he doesn't understand English.
