Firsflook is the gaming and pop culture event of the Benelux where the latest games, gadgets and hardware shown for the first time to the Dutch and Belgian players and where all aspects of "nerd culture" are offering. Think of Cosplay, eSports, and (for the first time in 2016) Comic artists and a huge marketplace.

Welcome, Portal Masters!
I was asked to make a Skylanders themed cake for an 8th Birthday!
I designed the base of the cake around the Portal of Power and decorated it with a handmade sugar figure of Eruptor the lava monster..."Born to Burn!"
All 100% edibale and hand modelled.
This is a 6" chocolate mud cake filled with homemade chocolate ganche.

Welcome, Portal Masters!
These cupcakes were made to co-ordinate with my Skylanders cake:

Each of the 7 vanilla cupcakes had been decorated with a handmade fondant topper of the 'elements' in a Skylanders theme. There are 8 elements in total, but my customer only wanted 7 cupcakes so there is one missing!

Ps: Tera is going F2P (free-to-play ;)) in february ! So I thought it would be worth using the free trial period now. It took me a damn long time to find a class I liked.. and also to get used to the game itself. I've been spoilt by Raiderz. It can't be compared. But I am finally getting into it now.
Pps: It took me 30 hours (!!!!!!!$/$&")$) to download this f....reaking game!
Ppps: Next game on my list: Guild Wars 2.

Friends from www.ttnut.com asked me to post a photo of a TT scale industrial structure I recently kitbashed from two Auhagen gas works kits #12244. Here it is. The truck in the foreground is a Russian copy of the International K7. It does hardly differ from the US prototype. Again, I used a computer game background.
