Section #3. The third series in my portfolio is a grouping of composition-based studies around urban environments, such as Downtown Orlando. Its purpose is to demonstrate, and learn how line, shape, flow, balance, placement, tone and other basic building blocks of photography composition can be pulled to their extremes and rearranged in creative ways. With a touch of abstraction. To make room for the piece requirement of this portfolio, only two photographs form this series are included.

Note the reference to "polymer" in the medium listing under the photo.
We see the word, polymer, on bottles of acrylic media, nowadays. In 1958, there was no 'acrylic' yet. Painters, interested in the new medium bought artist's grade polymer in 5 gallon drums. We mixed color into it in the powder state. I continued to use oil, as well.
Polymer was invented by an artist, associated with the Museum School. At about the same time, a corporation invented it, but the artist got the patent in first.

A test of the composition adjuster function of the pentax K-5. This function allows you to shift the sensor from the lens, this permit having objects in your composition not in the center but still aligned as if they were.
This picture is juste centered and doesn't use the function it is just there as a reference.
