By Piet Mondrian, Philadelphia Museum of Art.

A simple composition in an attempt to capture this great little rock stack as seen on the drive to Perisher Valley ski resort. It's a real shame you can't get the height to isolate the rocks from the background. Some dodge and burn to centre the focus. Basic but posted. SOS

Composition: Leading Lines and Rule of Thirds

Students from College of DuPage composition courses showcased visual representations of their written works at the second annual “See Writing Differently: A Celebration of Student Writing.” The event featured the capstone research projects of more than 500 English 1102 students and included websites, podcasts, PowerPoint presentations, posters, brochures, videos and art created in conjunction with written works.

The composition is made of field flowers and the ball (made of thread). Everything slightly painted with a silver aerosol paint.

Lotus, rose, asphodèles, saule, bergénia.

I like this picture because depth is created between the closer trees and the clouds further away. I think the trees and clouds really balance each other out.
