Down the side of the composition notebook included all kinds of ribbons in colors that were my partners colors. As well, there were some unique chipboard, wooden, and paper diecuts reflective of my partner. The front cover of the compostition notebook was covered with paper first, and so was the back and spine. The rest of the front is covered with 12 slide mounts designed and created by me with varied items representing my partner. Some were 2-D and others were 3-D.

I chose this photo, because it perfectly depicts the area where I live. The water is smooth and tranquil, and the sunset reflects off it with a fiery intensity. The dock leads your eye across the scene to the epicenter of the sunset. A mixture of cool tones of the coming night, as well as the warm tones of the descending sun. The treeline in the background is perfectly mirrored of the water as well. Colors bumped up slightly in contrast, and shadows bumped as well.

I was struck by the composition of these three lights at work, but didn't get it quite right.

I want to set up a long exposure shot of this using my tripod, Erin's 35mm f/1.8G prime lens and no flash.

THis will have to do for now.

Captured both images (waterfall and Shock) to later combine them in Photoshop.
