The better half and I went up to Glen Nevis today. We left late and I figured we missed the best of sunrise...
Seems I was mistaken. I had no real intention of stopping here - I've shot this composition many times, but the light and the bush actually having autumnal leaves on it made me stop in a hurry - the leaves are usually long gone by now!
I took a few shots as the light changed, and then some light hailstones started and the light left.

This Ruddy Turnstone was in a group foraging on a pebbly beach on the Yucatan Peninsula in the state of Quintana Roo, southern Mexico. It is showing the characteristic behaviour of turning over stones to locate food.
