The white areas on the skin are talcum powder that wasn't completely removed during the soaking process.
The skin has been stained brown using instant coffee granules.

The electronic components distributors in India have a major responsibility on their shoulders. They have to cover geographical areas of such extent and deliver the products. A token of appreciation need to be given to the distributors for the timely delivery of the products.
James builds his new computer with the following components, Intel i7-7820X CPU, Asus Prime X299 Deluxe motherboard, G-Skill TridentZ RGB 32GB's of ram, Samsung 970 Pro 512GB NVME M.2 SSD, Corsair H150i Pro AIO, Corsair HX1000i power supply and a Nvidia RTX 2080Ti graphics card at James' House on September 22nd, 2018.
I was intirigued by the behaviour of this korimako at the view platform by the upper dam at Zealandia, Karori Sanctuary. It was flicking around the fencing at the edge of the platform looking particularly under the pieces of angled metal stays that made up the topline and standards. After a while I realised it was taking spiders and insects hiding under the curved metal. This was mid July (winter) so I guess the usual diet of nectar and fruit was scarce.
The Bellbird is a passerine bird endemic to New Zealand. It has greenish coloration and is the only living member of the genus Anthornis. The bellbird forms a significant component of the famed New Zealand dawn chorus . It has a bell-like song which is sometimes confused with that of the Tui. The species is common across much of New Zealand and its offshore islands as well as the Auckland Islands. The bellbird is found throughout both the main islands of New Zealand apart from the north of the North Island. Its population and distribution had been seriously affected by the introduction of European-style farming, which has led to the removal of native forests (the natural habitat of the bellbird). Another important factor is the introduction of predatory species such as cats, weasels, stoats, ferrets, rats and food-robbing species like wasps. Predators either eat the birds or consume eggs, while food robbers compete with the bellbird for its natural food sources of nectar, honeydew and insects. The decline occurred around the same time as many other New Zealand species, but for unknown reasons was reversed and the species is still common across much of New Zealand, however it had become locally extinct in Wellington and has been re-introduced to the area in the Karori sanctuary.
