After just a couple of days without checking the trail cameras, it's clear that there's been a surge of wildlife activity. We've had sightings of a wandering coyote, an adorable snowshoe hare, and a very vocal juvenile gray jay, along with its attentive parents. The coyote stands out as the most active creature, appearing at all hours, both day and night. This is a crucial moment for the young hare, as it needs to stay vigilant against such a formidable predator. Be sure to turn up your volume to really immerse yourself in this experience—listen to the young jay squawking and the coyote scratching the ground. Connecting with these recent wildlife moments can deepen your appreciation for nature.
As a Halloween treat I decided to make a podcast/mix for everyone. Just five songs, but five creepy crawly awesome ones!

This vinyl compilation album from 1988 entitled ‘Hit Mix 88’ features 60 tracks on two double sided discs. The album boasts a wide variety of music from the time including songs from Michael Jackson, Whitesnake and Nina Simone.
“Carry On Collecting” is a project set up by the Museum of Hartlepool to collect objects which represent everyday life in the town and beyond, from the 1950s through to the present day. The collection also attempts to represent the diversity of the people of Hartlepool over the past 60 years.

Making a compilation for a friend was one thing. Assembling a tape for someone you wanted to see naked was something else entirely; a real high-wire act. Open with something earnestly romantic and you'd mark yourself out as a sexless drip.

I'm back? Thanks to not being able to really do anything, I've kinda emerged from my Dark Age and I picked up Pirates of Barracuda Bay.
So, I love Barracuda Bay. It's probably my favorite set to date. But, when you reassemble it into the Black Seas Barracuda, it doesn't make a lot of sense belowdecks... So, I set out to try to make it a little more seaworthy!
I tried to challenge myself by mostly using parts included and not making too many sweeping changes, keeping it mostly cohesive. I did have to kill Emmet's Couch Mech for the parts to make the bunk beds though.
