Entries for the annual Stevens Competition held at Glaziers Hall in London for young stained glass artists. These were among the top few from 1996 shown at the seminar to select the winning panels from among the many submissions. Alfred Fisher was the presiding speaker.
I was in my third year at Swansea when we made this trip to London, as we did for the previous two years (though I have no photos from the second one).

The EIU Band Competition was held on September 24, 2022, at O'Brien Field on the campus of Eastern Illinois University. (Abbey Marsmaker)
The FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics competition took place at Boston University. High School students from all over New England took part. Workers from the Natick Soldier Research Development and Engineering Center and PM-FSS mentored the students as they built their robots for competition. The schools received grants through the National Defense Education project.
The pairs competition was a bit of a free for all with competitors heckling each other, and occasionally dropping by their neighbor's station. Teams of two compete head to head with another team.

Members of Headquarters Support Company, Division Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 1st Infantry Division, compete in the Toughest Hellraiser competition Nov. 25. Six two-man teams competed in five stations to determine who was the most proficient and foster esprit de corps. The winning team was Staff Sgt. Ethan McKay and Spc. Surfing competition held in Dominica 2010 between surfing clubs from Martinque and Gaudeloupe. Great vibe and a fun day.
