I'm entering this into the Hand stitched fabric / fiber and mix media section of Badbird's competition over on Stitched by Hand group www.flickr.com/groups/727140@N22/discuss/72157624742990114/ . The snail keyring is based on Badbird's free snail pattern zuill.us/andreablog/2010/08/16/augusts-free-pattern/ , it was quite hard though transferring the pattern to felt, specially as I'd reduced the size of the piece.

I made a snail keyring for my new allotment keys. It's a ridiculously oversized keyring, however I am so paranoid about loosing the keys (allotment committee - slightly scary) that I thought a nice big bright keyring and I'm less likely to loose them or so the theory goes anyway.
