In this photo, two girls and a boy can be seen. The girl hugging the boy will be referred to as Girl One, while the other girl will be referred to as Girl Two.
As many may see in this picture, Girl One is seen hugging a boy while in the background Girl Two is seen plotting to kill the Girl One. The boy just broke up from his girlfriend and is seen sitting down crying. Girl One is one of his best friends and tries to comfort him. While trying to comfort the boy, Girl Two becomes jealous and tries to keep Girl One away from him. The fact that Girl One is trying to show compassion towards the boy is leading her into danger.
In "To Kill A Mockingbird", Atticus is the lawyer of Tom Robinson. Tom has been accused of raping Mayella Ewell and her father, Bob Ewell, wants him sent away. One night while Atticus is guarding the jail that Tom is in, a mob appears that wants to kill Tom. Atticus stands his ground and tries to defend Tom the best he could. The mob decides to drive away after Scout comes out of the darkness and guilts them into going home. It was Atticus' compassion to defend Tom that ended up leading him into danger.

I created this several months ago. I was surprised to find that I had not posted it here.
It's in my set called "Strange," although I think that could apply to a lot more of my work than what that set contains.

Note: The left frame depicts true Isam as envisioned by the Prophet Mohammad featuring the Arabic words for love, peace, tolerance, mercy, and compassion, respectively; the right frame depicts Apostasy as envisioned by ISIS and other so-called Islamic extremists featuring the Arabic words for hate, violence, cruelty, intolerance, and evil. Consequently the left frame is bright to symbolize Divine light while the right frame is gray to symbolize the darkness of evil.

THE SPIRIT OF COMPASSION
The Joan Joseph Foundation was established to build upon the visions and values of Joan Joseph, a Democratic leader, community organizer and humanitarian. Compassion was her hallmark and Joan's guiding principles and dedication to make the world a better place are legendary.
ABOUT JOAN
In the fall of 2009, a beam of light was pointed toward the heavens and a spirit was released to let the world know there is always a chance for us to make a better world. The legacy of Joan Joseph started with a simple knock on the door in 1972 when a representative of the McGovern Presidential Campaign asked for volunteers. It was the beginning of a long and successful political activism career for this social worker from New York.
FOUNDATION PROGRAMS
The Joan Joseph Foundation will provide scholarships and grants to post-secondary students as approved by the Board of Directors in the areas of human and animal rights, the arts and politics. The Joan Joseph Foundation does not provide loans.
