No one should have to surrender their beloved pet simply to get them health care, but as the cost of groceries and housing keeps going up, more Ottawa residents are faced with very difficult decisions.
That's why the Ottawa Humane Society is launching a new campaign for a community veterinary clinic that will ensure all pets get the care they need and everyone, regardless of income, can keep their cherished pet.
I volunteered to take photos of the Compassion Campaign to raise funds for this clinic, along with a Behavioural Rehabilitation Assistance Centre (BARC).
