El Rachum is the Hebrew name for God meaning "compassionate God," and the root word comes from the word for "womb". When I was a child my mother was hospitalized many times with bipolar disorder. Three gray-haired women made my life good during those difficult years: my grandmother, a neighbor, and a teacher. It is through them El Rachum made Himself known.
