In answer to the questions below, the compass plant is a very interesting prairie plant. It's lower leaves almost always line up with north and south. Long ago it helped travelers find their way across the prairie. Common in black soil prairies. Their roots can go down 12 feet and their leaves stay surprisingly cool even on a very hot day.
After weeks of no apparances, Compass' Manual Vario S592 is seen at the DWP office on the 588. It was replaced by automatic sister R47 for the rest of the day. Note that it is currently the only bus in Compass' fleet with the latest fleetnames.
The Compasses aka the Cavern has a history as a music pub. It closed down c. 2016. It was next door to the Welsh Harp and also close to the Railway (the only one of the four pubs in this immediate area to still exist).
