When seated, our waiter was quick to bring us water as well as this fabulous "bread platter". This is hands down the best ever complimentary bread out of all the restaurants - fancy and gritty - that I have been to. People rave about the bread at Red Lobster's...that is nothing compared to the deliciousness that was set before us.
Two pairs of a deliciously soft centered cornbread with a crusty outside paired with a crumbly cheddar biscuit with jalapeño and scallions, accompanied by lightly salted butter swimming in a dish of golden honey, went down very, very quickly. The cheddar biscuit was especially delicious, as the slight spiciness of the jalapeño contrasted pleasantly with the sweetness of the honey.
