the compass centre in attleborough has been hosting a workshop for fooling with jonathan kay this week...all the people involved in the workshop are performers in their own right and last night gave a performance in their usual manner - damn good they were too!...tonight they will be performing as fools showing what they've learnt this week...
Washed and stretched my sister's doily. The were crocheted by her grandmom in law. After stretching this one reminded me of a Compass Rose.
Chrysaora hysoscella. Seen near the slip when returning from a nav-ex so I hung back after the dive, I was surprised by the amount of backscatter in the photo as I didn't actually seen any in the water. Taken while spending a weekend with guys from the NMCI club staying at the Hungry Hill Lodge. A great weekend!

Eingebettet in die 2019 gestartete künstlerisch-wissenschaftliche Auseinandersetzung mit KI und Neuro-Bionik laden eine Reihe neuer Exponate und weiterentwickelter Ausstellungsbereiche dazu ein, sich inmitten der aktuellen Begeisterungsstürme und Panikattacken wieder etwas Orientierung zu verschaffen. „Compass reloaded!“ umfasst neue Stationen von Künstler*innen und Entwickler*innen aus Österreich, Rumänien, Belgien und den USA.

Omar demonstrated that the carved stone near the Main Temple and the Temple of the Three Windows has points that correspond to the directions on his compass. The stone is also carved to represent the Southern Cross as seen in the night sky at certain times.

Compass Inn is a historic inn and tavern located in Laughlintown, Ligonier Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. It is a 2 1/2-storey, five bay log and stone building in a vernacular Georgian style. The original section was built in 1799, and it is three bays wide. The two bay stone section was added in the 1820s. A clapboarded frame section was added in 1862. It was restored in 1970, and operated as a local history museum. The property includes a rebuilt barn and blacksmith shop.
