Washed and stretched my sister's doily. The were crocheted by her grandmom in law. After stretching this one reminded me of a Compass Rose.

Seen near the slip when returning from a nav-ex so I hung back after the dive, I was surprised by the amount of backscatter in the photo as I didn't actually seen any in the water. Taken while spending a weekend with guys from the NMCI club staying at the Hungry Hill Lodge. A great weekend!

Omar demonstrated that the carved stone near the Main Temple and the Temple of the Three Windows has points that correspond to the directions on his compass. The stone is also carved to represent the Southern Cross as seen in the night sky at certain times.
