The SEAT Ateca is a compact crossover vehicle (CUV) manufactured by Spanish automaker SEAT. It is also the successor to the SEAT Altea. The Ateca debuted as a concept vehicle, the SEAT IBX, at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, followed by the SEAT 20v20 Concept at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

The production car was launched in 2016.

The car is named after the Spanish town of Ateca, in Aragon.

As part of Volkswagen's policy of making similar models with shared platforms in the same factory, the Ateca is produced at Škoda's production facility in Kvasiny, alongside the Škoda Karoq. The Ateca is based of the VW Group MQB matric responsible for a majority of the Group's small and midsize vehicles. The similarity extends also to the VW Tiguan MkII, but also to an ever-increasing number of MQB-derived CUV vehicles in the global portfolio.

Another flower macro/close-up from our garden. These Dahlia buds have very interesting and beautiful looking colors and patterns on them. Nature has an amazing way of packaging these beauties... one day they are just small buds and the next day you find them in full bloom!

Wishing you all a great start to the week!

The compact sold for $1.00, which was a luxury price in the 1940's and early 1950's. It's a large 2-3/4" diameter, 3/8" thick compact with a beautiful art glass, rhinestone and gold floral decoration on top.

Smashed compact disc I keep stuck to my desk to remind myself that nothing is forever.

The incident occurred in the bedroom of a friend. He had that same bedroom all his life, and I watched it from a young age turn from cartoon characters to sporting heroes to bodyboarding posters of huge perfect waves to heavy metal posters to surf-rock posters and then finally he moved out and it was painted clean. The smoke stains painted over.

We had been out until late.

We were angry.

We posed the question quietly while his parents slept. Why do you have this CD?

He, with much trouble, smashed it.

Compact yet charming, this home plan includes all the details of a much larger home. The European exterior features a stone entrance and copper roofing over the bedroom/study window. The interior consists of tray ceilings in almost every common room, granting a luxurious feel to each. The breakfast room is hugged by a bow window, as is the master bedroom. For entertaining, the breakfast room, great room, kitchen and dining room are all just a step away from one another. The generous utility room is sure to please any homeowner and is just off the garage. Ideal for outdoor entertaining, the sprawling porch and patio are an added bonus for this home plan, and the fireplace on the porch is a great way to keep warm during cooler months. Perfectly positioned, the bedrooms ensure privacy from one another. Two secondary bedrooms share a bath and the elegant master suite is located in the rear of the home plan. *Photographed home may have been modified from the original construction documents.* www.dongardner.com/house-plan/1164/the-runnymeade

I used it on all 4 decks & the tape still looks clean, perhaps they weren't that dirty after all!

first time i built the entire chassis without any of the bodywork.

features:

Steering: working rack and pinion, working steering wheel, and HOG (hand of god) steering system (over rear wheels)

Suspension: Working independent on rear wheels, none on front due to the steering system (the most compact systems that aren't based off of the bricks flexing takes at least 2 studs more room between each wheel)

Interior: working glovebox and steering wheel

Our itinerary today was designed to include many of the lesser known and visited temples of the Angkor archaeological park since we were due to visit the more major ones over the following days. All these sites would be major attractions in their own right anywhere else, but in Angkor there is simply too much for the regular visitor to take in, but since we're not regular visitors we aimed to try our best regardless!

Our fifth stop was Ta Som, one of Angkor's smaller temples which dates back to the 12th century.

The temple sits within an enclosure of laterite walls with striking 'face towers' over the main gates. The main shrine is much more compact than the other sites we visited and consists of a central group of towers and corridors. There is however much intricate figurative carving adorning the walls with many serene apsara figures smiling back at the viewer.

The temple ruins are quite picturesque owing to how close the surrounding jungle seems to get to it here. The site itself takes less time to explore than many of Angkor's sprawling temple sites but is a rewarding place to visit with much charm and beauty nonetheless.
