The Pear does not get left in a dark parking garage unattended. It comes with me. The office was a tad crowded with 3 people and one bike in about this much space. Luckily the boss was OK with it!

Dear Mom and Dad,
Well, for anyone who hasn't heard, our office has moved to downtown San Francisco. My commute, from Marin, is now across the bay, by ferry. No, you don't have to sit outside - it's just that sometimes I prefer to. And no, it's not that cold. We're under heat lamps, and these guys are reading. ;-)

Saw this poor fellow with Tourette's on the bus. Every time it came over him he would bite down on his hand, almost as if he were trying to hold his errant tongue. He was reading a technical manual but unfortunately kept losing his place.
With me wearing my headlamp and Kiyomi wearing her reflective collar with LEDs flashing, we took a long walk from our house to the park, ran offleash for a while, and walked back.
Commuting during the Finnish winter is dark business - only when passing the shopping center are there some lights, and even they show up as blobs.
The photo is not out of focus or anything. This is how it looks as the bus windows are all fogged up / wet.
