November 20, 2008. Changing buses at the Helsinki railway station. A view toward the skating course.
Dear Mom and Dad,

Love, Kat
Saw this poor fellow with Tourette's on the bus. Every time it came over him he would bite down on his hand, almost as if he were trying to hold his errant tongue. He was reading a technical manual but unfortunately kept losing his place.
I didn't take this picture- one of the orphans on the bus did (I don't remember this at all.) Very typical scene of travel and commute
Walked to work and caught the punt. Normally the punt only operates on w/ends, this was a w/day trial by bicycle victoria, there were a number of cyclists, but I was the only one walking. It doesn't look like it was very viable, as it hasn't been run on a w/day since...

An after-hours collison forced the closure of the train I take to work (the Tozai line). This is one station along the detour.
