Found another bit of lovely countryside to take me off the main roads on my commute. It's also more direct than the main road. Result!

When swim class moved miles closer to home, I was determined to go there by bike when class was held during daylight hours. It took me 30 minutes to get there. I left about 10 minutes later than I intended, but still arrived on time. After class was over, I climbed out of the pool to see Jay there with his bike, too! He had ridden all the way to Buda and back, and when he saw I bike commuted to swim, he rode over there to accompany me home. So sweet! We stopped for lunch at Taco Deli before going home.

A very common way to cut costs of the daily commute

Part of a slide show for the morning commute, some of them are slightly blurry. This is down to seeing things and snapping them quickly, with no time for focus let alone anything else. And of course they are taken on the move so allow a little room for that.
