Dear Mom and Dad,
Well, for anyone who hasn't heard, our office has moved to downtown San Francisco. My commute, from Marin, is now across the bay, by ferry. No, you don't have to sit outside - it's just that sometimes I prefer to. And no, it's not that cold. We're under heat lamps, and these guys are reading. ;-)

Saw this poor fellow with Tourette's on the bus. Every time it came over him he would bite down on his hand, almost as if he were trying to hold his errant tongue. He was reading a technical manual but unfortunately kept losing his place.
I didn't take this picture- one of the orphans on the bus did (I don't remember this at all.) Very typical scene of travel and commute
An after-hours collison forced the closure of the train I take to work (the Tozai line). This is one station along the detour.
