Looking for rituals and routine: I feel like I spend a lot of time in the car. And I know it's not by a lot of other folks' commutes and such, but it feels like such wasted time to me. Too much and wasted. My brain thinks up all sorts of craziness on the commutes though. And I get a chance to catch up on some excellent music. So, probably not completely wasted, but... you know.
For the lovely Darrah Parker's Slice of Life Project

Yep - rode the bike into work today. Shot snapped while ingesting some much needed energy about halfway through.
I'm kinda liking the whole bringing my camera with me. Here are some of my shots from my a.m. ride in.
I had my camera with me so I decided to take some pictures of vans I encountered on my commute to work on Route 93 south towards Boston...safety first!
A standard white econoline...the wildebeast of the early morning commute.
This photo was taken on the pedestrian island between what is about to become Third street (oncoming westbound one-way traffic on right hand side of frame) and 2nd Street (not in photo - eastbound one-way). If you decided to stay on Greenfield Ave, this is where you often end up. In the center of the photo, you see the western terminus of 4th Street. If you proceed that direction, you will be merging with left turning traffic from behind you. Be aware of fast-turning traffic from 3rd to 4th Street, as they have a separated lane.
Commuting via city bus. The grand view from my seat during my daily commute. Am I watching them or are they watching me?
Bridge over highway 404 / HÃd a 404-es autópálya felett.
Driving along Ellgin Mills Rd - after many trials I found that it is still better to stay up in the Northern routes and move West, since traffic only becomes worse further South towrds downtown Toronto.
I took these shots a July morning during my daily commute - over the previous 2 years I got used to the 60 minutes drive every morning - I listened to the radio, and later audiobooks while driving. The pictures were meant as a memory, since by then we were preparing to move from Ontario.
