More sunrise fog shots from Friendship Park this morning. Just couldn't get over the aesthetic of the fog stuck in the field, just barely able to overcome that little hill into traffic. Such a gorgeous thing to see.

Almost nothing remains of this scene now. The locomotive hauled commuter service, power station cooling towers, the sidings to the left beyond the train all gone and the view obliterated by the electrification infrastructure
Highlighting the Western Regions perennial motive power shortage at this time. Old Oak Common must have been short of Type 4's yet again, turning out 31 241 and 31 231 for an Oxford - Paddington morning commuter working.

Fall is here! I usually drive around Old Broadcove Road for my daily commute - it takes a little longer but there's rarely any traffic and it's much more scenic than the highway. One of the best parts about not driving a car to work is the people-watching on the bus. I liked the perspective of everyone all lined up here.
Lemurs can't swim. So, they have their own island at the zoo. A group of us watched as one of the keepers boarded a paddle boat and commuted to and from Lemur Island, in order to feed his hungry friends.
