One of my photography goals for the new year is to get back into street photography. I think it will help me keep a creative mindset and will push me to experiment a lot more than what I do now. Although I didn't bring my beloved DSLR, I still had the urge to take some photos during my delayed commute today. So why not push the envelope even more by simply using my phone?!

Passengers at Włoszakowice board the 77200 06:18 Wolsztyn to Leszno weekday service on 6th December 2017, the last steam-hauled commuter train service in the world and expected to finish in 2019. The driver of 2-6-2 Ol49-69 looks out in anticipation of a quick departure from this popular commuting station. Tender-first working for one leg of the return diagrams from Wolsztyn shed have been the normal operating procedure on these services over the last two years, saving the additional cost demanded by PKP Cargo for using their turntable at Leszno depot.

My commute home this morning. I had to pull over as the sun came out from behind Pioneer Peak! View On Black
In another week these same people will be commuting after the sun is up. The dawn time changes so quickly at this time of year.
Not sure about this picture. I like what I was trying to do with the composition, but not sure I pulled it off - but one has to keep trying!
