Looking down from a hill onto Highway 4 during rush hour traffic. Couldn't resist taking a shot of the lighttrails as vehicles go by. The middle white trails are from the BART train rolling by.

Virginia Railway Express Rebuilt EMD RP39-2C V04 was passing through the Canyons of Bureaucracy with a trainload of government drones heading home after a long day of coming up with more intrusive ways to screw the American public out of their money, freedoms and sanity.

 

The V04 soon left the Cesspool of Corruption and now works a more fulfilling life in the Great White North as Quebec Gatineau Railway 2300.

I don't know, but the commute this couple is undertaking sure looks mighty fine right about now.

 

If the bell tower looks a little crooked, that's because it is in real life. It suffered from the same fate as the Leaning Tower of Pisa, but is not as well known.

I wanted a normal, standard bike for commuting.

 

This is what I actually got (the Moulton Standard from 1965).

I think it's pretty wild that there are people whose daily commute to work takes them through these spectacular gardens commissioned by Emperor Shah Jehan (of Taj Mahal fame) for his queen Mumtaz Mahal. (Shalimar Gardens)
