More sunrise fog shots from Friendship Park this morning. Just couldn't get over the aesthetic of the fog stuck in the field, just barely able to overcome that little hill into traffic. Such a gorgeous thing to see.
MARC train 246 was heading for Baltimore on a sunny morning in February 1994.
This quaint country crossing is now located in the middle of an industrial park and MARC F9 85 and became one of the most photographed F-units in the country as Norfolk Southern's 4271.
NS sold off their F-units in 2019 and this F9 is now Aberdeen Carolina & Western 271.
In another week these same people will be commuting after the sun is up. The dawn time changes so quickly at this time of year.
Not sure about this picture. I like what I was trying to do with the composition, but not sure I pulled it off - but one has to keep trying!
I'm thinking of taking this mask on the tube for the commute to work - I cannot bear being breathed over and having to, in turn breathe in the expelled air of the 15 people I have rubbing up against me. It's especially gruesome when they have been drinking lots the night before. Maybe I am very anal but I hate to lose those (how many?) inches of personal space we like to maintain around us and my face becomes stony and cat's bum mouthed, ead down breathing into my own cleavage, my armpits as far away from everyone's noses as possible.
The day when a guy gets on wearing delicious aftershave I will whip off the mask and invade his personal space like a drug detecting spaniel.

Lemurs can't swim. So, they have their own island at the zoo. A group of us watched as one of the keepers boarded a paddle boat and commuted to and from Lemur Island, in order to feed his hungry friends.
