14 year Anita Rajbar writes her feedback about the exercise- “We really enjoyed going around the community in the morning and evening to take pictures”. Her love for her community and the people in her community comes out as she intricately draws a beautiful portrait of children playing by the railway tracks. She chooses morning and evening because she learnt from the photography workshop that the pictures taken in the early and late light look really good.
Along with her partners Mampi and Priyanka, Anita roamed her community seeking out good photo opportunities. She was also charged with a fact finding mission- How is World Vision India working in your community and how does it help in keeping the children healthy? Anita and her friends were given the freedom to take pictures and caption them. No adults to hover around them as they explored their community.
