ODC - Communication
During the early 19th and 20th century telegraph poles were used to stretch thousands of miles of wire through which we communicate with. Today the only poles I could find are power poles. This one is rather small compared to some of the big steal giants that are used.

I don't usually 'blog' on my photos, but yesterday was especially moving. I went there hoping and expecting journalistic, exciting, and perhaps historic photos. Also, I went there with some preconceived notions of who was 'right' and who was 'wrong' . Some pretty selfish motivations, I think.
Anyway, I finally got bored of photographing yelling matches, so I decided to ask some folks who were being verbally besieged by the opposition: 'so, why don't you like those guys over there'? (literally) And it's pretty amazing what you can learn from asking lots of questions, and then quietly listening to people that may completely disagree with you. Behind all the flags and banners, there are some pretty surprising and dramatic stories and ideas. 'The Media' is not going to give us those details, because we don't ask them to, and we don't give up the time to hear them. But they're there. For the asking and the listening.
Communication: These two haven't seen each other in two years (see their goodbye photo from two years ago in the comment). They want to get married one day!

New collaboration with Lis, this time on the lack of communication in the digital world.

During my participation in the collective exhibition Fresh Legs in Galleri Heike I have had the opportunity to meet incredible artists from different parts of the world.
I have decided as a personal challenge to make a small collaboration with each one of them.
My first collaboration was with artist Lisa Rytterlund.
We exhibited together in the same room and during the opening of the exhibition we had several conversations. One of these conversations was about the wage discrimination of women.
We started talking about it, when I told her that I had started working in the same job that my wife had, working the same number of hours and although she has much more experience than me, my salary is almost 500 euros higher.
A few weeks later, the conversation came back to my head and I asked Lisa the following idea:
“1- Each of us makes 3 small paintings in DIN A5 format on paper but incomplete on the salary discrimination of women I make three paintings and you do three others. The technique used does not matter (acrylic, collage …)
2- Once completed, we send the "incomplete” paintings. I send my three to you and you send your three to me.
3- Once received each one of us “completes” the received paintings
4 - We have 6 small paintings that we have done together at a distance “
I must mention that I live in Berlin and Lisa in Stockholm, the collaboration is not digital. We send originals by post and we work one on the original of the other.
A few weeks later the challenge was completed and here are the results.
Satisfied with the collaboration we decided to release it, and paint on a new theme:
The lack of communication in the digital world.
Thanks for this Lis
