Can't think of any other photo that can be as cute as this one... Edd suggested to crop the chicken's bum out so it would be more balanced but I couldn't....those feathers are just to precious :)

Amazing when you think that this "old school" technology still runs along side the railroad tracks . And now the communication is carried by fibre-optics.

This is the place from where I contact the world via my Flickr account. My photos, and my interminable musings that go with them are all pounded out on this keyboard, in this chair... My typing skills are limited, for the same reasons that I am incapable of mastering a musical instrument - whatever that is... I think there's some missing gene - the one that causes "muscle memory" - where your muscles learn a pattern and repeat motions over and over the same way. That's manifested in so many ways - for instance... My signature is never the same twice in a row - every time I write it, it's like a new day, even if it's seconds later. When we sign papers on houses, it ties me up in knots, trying to simply write my initials over and over. I guess the randomizer in my head runs out of different variations, and just locks up...
It's embarrassing.

In class we talked about how Paula Scher's Swatch add was during the Postmodernism movement and how it is very similar to Herbert Metters Swiss Add, and I was actually looking at this picture as Bess was talking about it. And it fascinated me how every medium of art are interpreted or copied per-say. Also most artists struggle to articulate the definition of "postmodernism" and during this struggle to find a definition I explored to find a clear meaning and running into this made it quite clear that it isn't something in particular or exactly defined, its a lose term of a new take at things. This is kind of what postmodernism is about, reinventing, reinterpreting, or just re-thinking. Even though they are very similar it is still different, but with a "postmodernism" style as the movement was about "re-thinking" I thought this was a perfect example, and in class I was searching other examples of this happening, and I stumbled upon many websites that actually post hundreds of famous pieces of art that were copied (for the lack of a better term)
