This was one of the Industry academia partnership summits where one of my friends is giving a speech on communication!

Basically, his short speech said that: Communication is all about conveying information through an exchange of thoughts, ideas, and feelings. Good communication needs to be a meaningful exchange between two or more parties and, for your message to be heard and understood, it needs to be clear, concise, and communicated with confidence.

Communication skills are something that we all need to constantly develop and keep in check. Whether it is communicating to our work colleagues, clients, family, pets - the list goes on and there’s always room for improvement!

I remember when I was small that a telephone box was the only means of communication whilst out. How different it is today.

After living in this street for 34 years we today noticed that some of the telegraph poles had a finial, so I took a shot of one and then it being Sunday decided to play....... HSS!

Hatari flies to the top of the sacred Shambula mountain. According to the natives, the griffon are intelligent beings, albeit territorial and aggressive. Wishing he had checked the settings before flying up here, Hatari brings up the suit's universal translator. "What do you think the odds are there's a mythical beast option?" he muttered to himself as he looked...

I am a Big Fan of her work.

It seems to be the rule, that as soon as you wait for transport of any kind, out comes the phone.

Given an abstract treatment.

I must admit this hasn’t been the first time to have experienced this unique bonding, when the bird accepted my presence and wouldn’t fly away. Call it “interspecies communication" if you wish, or telepathy - I don’t know (smile).

After taking a few good shots with my 400mm f5.6, I have decided to take the chance and switch lenses, for a shallower DOF. The cute owl didn't move a bit. I must admit having experienced a feeling of acceptance and trust. I gave the owl its space by not getting too close.

Given a slight blur and vibrant colour treatment.

In front of the silhouette of the Traunstein stands "La Communication", a boy communicating with his doppelgänger. The large figure with a xylophone on his back represents a creative person and artist in dialogue with his analytical, structuring side, symbolized by the small figure with the Lego brick.

~ Ricky typing frantically ~

Lupita : "Did you seriously just message me over the computer..??!!"

Ricky : "Yes.."

Lupita : "I am sitting right here! You can't just talk to me?!"

Ricky : "But when I do it this way, I can send you cute stickers and emoticons. Nothing says 'Hi' quite like a waving puppy eating a cupcake and riding a unicorn."

Lupita : "That says hi??"

Ricky : "..uh YES. He's WAVING! Durrr."

Shot at F5.6; natural light plus reflector. Cropped image.

A shot taken as it was , only cropped and contrast tweaked a tad . We see here what looks like misalignment of signal transfer between the Lunar surface and this receiving station - does this mean the Earth and The Moon is drifting out of phase ?? Maybe it has been a side effect of the Stellar Drift upsetting the universe like global warming effects on the Earth . If it is I do not think there will be much to be done from here on Earth . What would be the cause of the Stellar Drift , maybe it is all the junk we keep sending out into space upsetting the magnetic forces out there and now the damage is done -------- On the other hand , maybe after the high winds that we have had , perhaps the aerial might need a bit of adjustment !!
