Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack testified on the “State of the Ag Economy” at a House Agriculture Committee Hearing in the Longworth House Office Building in Washington, D.C., Thursday, February 17. Secretary Vilsack mentioned in his opening remarks, “As we enter 2011, the farm economy continues to remain strong with U.S. agricultural exports, farm cash receipts and net farm income projected at or above previous record levels.”.

The Committee Fire was reported at 12:20 p.m. Friday, July 15. It is located on the back side of Munds Mountain, east of Sedona. Smoke will remain visible during suppression efforts. It was likely caused by lightning.

The Review Committee’s was established at WTSA-12. Core objective is to review the structure and working methods of ITU-T to ensure it continues meeting the standardization needs of an evolving business environment. The Review Committee will determine how ITU-T can best satisfy the growing demand for ICT standards tailored to the needs of industries including energy utilities, transportation, financial services, healthcare and education. The Review Committee will report regularly on its progress to the Telecommunication Standardization Advisory Group (TSAG), contributing to the preparation of ITU-T’s new strategic plan. The recommendations in the Review Committee’s final report will be discussed and acted upon by WTSA-16.
