L'auteur est fasciné par la tour Eiffel et le CNIT à Paris . Il nous explique aussi sans le vouloir pourquoi les tours jumelles se sont effondrées ( ouvrage rédigé avant l'attentat ) . Et effet en général le gros de la structure est un massif noyau en béton et la périphérie est constituée de murs rideaux . Là la charge avait été répartie entre le centre et des piliers d'acier en périphérie, qui n'ont pas supporté l'incendie . Comme en plus pour augmenter la rigidité les deux structures étaient solidaires l'effondrement de l'une a entrainé l'autre . Mais qui pouvait prévoir un tel attentat ?
