KUWAIT NAVAL BASE, Kuwait--Soldiers from the 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) gathered together aboard the Army Logistical Support Vessel 05, Major General Charles P Gross, to congratulate newly promoted Chief Warrant Officer 4 Lawrence Claflin during a promotion ceremony held here Nov. 22. Claflin is the support operations sea mobility branch chief for the 143d ESC and has served in the Army watercraft field for over 25 years.

Army Materiel Command held a “Touchdown Ceremony” June 15, 2011 at their new Headquarters on Martin Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL. The 400,000 square foot facility will house some 1,750 AMC and US Army Security Assistance Command employees.
Lt. Gen. Rick Lynch., Commander, Installation Management Command, will host a flag uncasing ceremony for the U.S. Army Installation Management Command Oct. 5, 2010 at 10 a.m. in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Joseph W. Westphal, Under Secretary of the United States Army, will be the guest speaker.
The ceremony represents the presence of the installation management community and the assumption of the command's authority in San Antonio. The installation management community includes the U.S. Army Installation Management Command Headquarters and two major subordinate commands: U.S. Army Environmental Command and the Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command.
IMCOM temporarily occupies leased space in northeastern San Antonio until the new IMCOM Headquarters Building on Fort Sam Houston is completed in October 2011.
Uncasing the flag exemplifies how IMCOM, headquartered in "Military City USA," is transforming to make Army installations the Army's Home.

Soldiers, Civilian employees and their Families took a break from their normal, busy work schedules to participate in team building activities and celebrate the recent transition of the IMCOM headquarters to San Antonio, Texas.

Azerbaijan - Soldiers from the Utah National Guard's 1457th Engineer Battalion, 97th Troop Command and 65th Fires Brigade took part in Regional Response 2009 held in Qaraheybat, Azerbaijan, April 18-26.
Regional Response 2009 is part of a continuing effort by the United States and its partners to improve interoperablity and strengthen relationships with partner militaries in theater-security operations and assist Azerbaijan with achieving its NATO interoperable objectives, as defined in its NATO individual-partnership action plan.
In total, about 170 Utah National Guard Soldiers for 97th Troop Command, 1457th Engineer Battalion and 65th Fires Brigade participated alongside more than 300 Soldiers from the Azerbaijani Infantry and Peacekeeping Force Companies.
The RAF Bomber Command Memorial in Green Park, London, commemorates the aircrews of RAF Bomber Command who embarked on missions during the Second World War. The memorial, located near Hyde Park Corner, was built to mark the sacrifice of 55,573 aircrew.
There was controversy over the tactics employed by RAF Bomber Command which meant that an official memorial to the aircrews had been delayed for many years
The Queen officially opened the memorial on 28 June 2012.

Dill, who led USAG Wiesbaden through massive transformation efforts for the past 31 months, moves on to serve as the G-3, chief of operations, for V Corps. Carstens comes to Wiesbaden after last serving as the executive officer to the deputy commander for U.S. Army Europe in Heidelberg.

Because of the army engineers' history in using small boats in inland waters, this command was given the responsibility for training U.S. Army amphibious units in WWII. This small patch was one of the few that were worn on the pocket, not the sleeve.
The final command to shut down ESA's hugely successful Herschel mission was sent at 14:25 CEST, 17 June 2013.

A trio of defensive and control structures on Sheerness to command the heavy weight of firepower at the disposal to defend the mouth of the Rivers Thames and Medway.
There is a 4.7in Quick Fire (QF) coastal battery in the converted Martello tower. The tower would also have had radar. Two circular Martello-like concrete towers, each for a 4.7in QF gun. Later additions to their roofs converting them to minefield control points. In between a rectangular Battery Observation Post (BOP) tower.
Maj. Gen. David Conboy marks his last day as commanding general of the 416th Theater Engineer Command during the relinquishment of command ceremony held at the Parkhurst U.S. Army Reserve Center in Darien, Illinois, September 13. Conboy was the 416th TEC commanding general for nearly two years. He has been promoted to deputy commanding gneral of operations for the U.S. Army Reserve Command.
